Wonderful staff ready to helpPosted Jul 12, 2015
Location: Great location near the plaza de armas
A group of 5 women, we had an amazing time at Los Tambos. The staff was helpful and ready to help upon our arrival. They offered excellent advice on restaurants- zigzag- and were helpful with directions and tours.

Boutique style hotel at a very reasonable rate!Posted Jul 8, 2015
What a gem! Only 1 block from the Plaza Sq ... And 5 minute walk to the river. The price was so so inexpensive (under $100usd ), I thought I may be at the wrong place. Hotel is very clean & modern. Also very quiet.. We did not hear our neighbors ...and the cook to order breakfast ... What a nice treat ... Plenty of choices .. And a good size portion .. And plenty to drink - juice , tea, coffee ..etc .. You can have it all !!

Pleasant and simplePosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff.
Cons: No hot water for showering. Didn't want to run the water for more than 15 minutes to find out if it would eventually heat up.
Conveniently located close to the square (Plaza de Armas). Staff was very friendly. Sadly we had to leave very early the next day for our trip to Colca Canyon so we missed out on the apparently amazing breakfast but they did pack us a decent paperbag snack to go. Our room overlooked the road with a small balcony, the bed was very comfortable and the tv had some english stations. Bathroom was well acquainted with useful toiletries, unfortunately the shower water didn't ever get hot. It may have needed more time to run but I didn't want to waste water waiting. Comfortable for a one night stop.

Clean functional but overpriced for ArequipaPosted May 16, 2015
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean room but super small - not much space for the price. Really nothing special about this hotel to warrant the price, not sure why its so highly rated. The breakfast was exceptional. But even so one can get this quality for half the price or less in Arequipa.

Kindness personnel ever!Posted Apr 19, 2015 on Hotels
From the receptionist to the breakfast room personnel, everybody was extremely welcome and kind. The breakfast was really good and they had a menu you could choose from. The location was perfect, just a few steps from the Main Plaza in Arequipa downtown.

Pros: Central location close to Plaza de Armas (central square) in Arequipa.
Location: Close to everything in Arequipa. No need to use TAXI or public transport during your stay.
Very helpful and polite staff although the hotel seems to be overpriced.

Nice hotel in an ideal locationPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: The location, overall cleanliness. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was super helpful
Cons: The rooms could have a kettle/tea/coffee and cups.
We stayed for one night in Arequipa on our way to Lima. This is an excellent hotel half a block from Plaza de Armas, the center of town as well as interesting sights. The hotel staff were super helpful in solving any and all problems.
