방이 길가에 있어서 시끄러웠습나다Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com

You can do betterPosted Jan 2, 2013
This is a case of a hotel that has been listed online so they get a steady stream of costumers, and now they feel no need to make any effort. Our room was smelly, the bathroom was run-down and shabby. Also it was a unisex bathroom and did not provide adequate privacy. There was never any toilet paper and I had to ask for toilet paper every time I went to the bathroom. And the water in the showers was cold, even though they say they have hot water. For the price, you can do better than this. Or if you're looking for a dumpy room, you should be able to get one for half the price.

great staff, very friendly and helpful but the room was tiny! we paid for a twin shared room with private bathroom and found ourselves in a shoebox with bunk beds... literally no room to put 2 big backpacks and then our bathroom was next door in a separate room so if you had to go at night it was take the key and unlock door etc each time. not really what we expected. Location pretty good though and hostel clean enough... just dont have great expectations!

Location, location, locationPosted Mar 15, 2012
Pros: The view and central location.
Cons: Lack of hot water and short on cleanliness.
Location: Only a block and a half to the main plaza. Lot of restaurants and a grocery store near by.
Posada Misti House had a lot of atmosphere, but a bit run down. It was a great location (near the Plaza de Armas), so if you do not plan to spend much time in your room, it is worth over looking some of the cons. Lack of hot water was an issue since they advertise its availability. The nights can be rather cool in Arequipa, so a nice hot shower is always welcome at the end of the day. Also the sheets were really thin and you wondered how clean the mattresses were. A wonderful plus was the great view of the Volcano Misti and the delightful terrace where you could hang out, read and watch the sunset. If you can afford it, I would recommend getting a room with a private bath. The communal bath was quite small and dirty after many people have used it. The staff were very helpful and the owners were welcoming.

Hotel Misti HousePosted May 4, 2011 on Hotels.com
Llegué cuando estaban pintando el hostal y no tenía buena apariencia porque todo estaba fuera de lugar. Las sábanas que utilizan son muy viejas y no dan un buen aspecto, en general está muy bien ubicado pero les falta limpieza y organización.
