The location was excellent! We had a car and Hotel Minerva provided safe parking as well as a curbside luggage drop off/pick up area. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, and the breakfast was 5 star!

Great place to stay and close to the Fiera
Clean, elegant feel. Centrally located, short 10 min drive/20 minute walk to the central area and fiera. Bed was comfy, room was quaint, but clean and well kept. Bar service was good and friendly.

Convenient for a short stay to discover Arezzo
An older type of building with interior an rooms kept in good condition. Room was spacious and clean. We were happy to find that the bed was equipped with a freshly covered quilt and not the infamous woollen blanket or bedcover which is often found in hotels. The breakfast was rich and complete charged € 6.-- p.p.. Free parking is available. The city centre can be reached in 20 minutes walking. The concierge gave us a hint to find free parking just below the cathedral. WIFI was working reliably.

would not stay again
The air conditioning did not work well and the room was very hot. There was also a problem with the shower where the water was hot for 5 seconds and then ice cold so I was unable to take a shower. Receptionist was extremely friendly and restaurant was good

A lovely clean hotel with a free car park. The rooms were comfortable, with a reasonably priced mini bar. There were bilingual staff who were really helpful. Only negatives were a view of the McDonald's next door and that it was a bit of trek walking to the historical centre.

Ruined by theft from locked room
Ruined by theft of wallet containing credit and debit cards and an Apple i-pad. We had packed on the morning of departure, leaving overnight bags in our (locked) room, while we went down to breakfast. We returned to the room, picked up our still zipped bags and drove on. Was only when we got to France that we discovered the wallet containing our French bank cards and my i-pad were missing. I rang Hotel Minerva that night, and the following day, spoke to the Reception Manager and someone in Admin. Although I was assured that staff had been questioned, all knowledge/responsibility was denied. The Admin person was partcularly unhelpful when I asked her to help me to report the theft to Arezzo Polizia for insurance purposes. We believe someone used a pass key to enter our room when they know we were in the breakfast room. The nature of the theft meant it was planned. If anyone has had a similar experience, please post it.

Fabulous hotel that I could not recommend enough. I had a wonderful stay and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also superb. All in all a top hotel.

The room we stayed in had a bit outdated bathroom. The room was nice with a balcony. Amazing breakfast!

Hotel Minerva has 130 rooms and two breakfast rooms ; the small one is used when is low occupancy while the large one is used when is high occupancy (e.g. groups and inidviduals). The buffet breakfast is open form 7.00 to 10.00 o'clock. The buffet breakfast is composed by ; home made cakes, cookies, croissant, sliced bread, tuscan bread, golden rusks, cerelas, jams, yogurt, ham, cheese, eggs, mini wurstel, fresh fruits, juices, hot drinks, water. Good hotel for Arezzo
Very comfortable place to stay. Restaurant was pretty good one day. Same exact order was so-so the next. Parking convenient. Can’t walk to Arezzo, must drive & park & walk to see the sights. Exhausting in the sun. Cortona has better restaurants.

This hotel filled all my expectations and more. The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the historic Arezzo. Private parking. Oh my God, the breakfast!!!! Have never seen anything like it, the variety and the quality was amazing. The room was very big and beand new (recently) remodeled. Loved my stay.

Stay here in Arezzo, especially with a car!
Hotel Minerva is a great hotel in many ways. There is a large parking lot with free outside parking. It's in a great location not far off the Autostrade, and the hotel is not too far from the old city (long walk or by car). The rooms are quite large (even for 2 people) with free WiFi, AC, some English channels, and staff brought me a big container with ice for drinks. I can't remember for sure, but I think there was a minibar. Everything was spotlessly clean. Room was quiet, too. Breakfast is free and plentiful, including eggs. Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. I booked one night and liked it so much that I returned for another night at the end of my trip! There's a really good gelateria just down the street, too. I would definitely stay there again when back in the area.

Good value for money.in this modern comfortable hotel. Good breakfast and service from its professional staff. Near old Arezzo at no more than a 10 minute walk. I would stay in it again if I travelled to Arezzo.

Smoking in room !!!!!
Put into a room where a smoker had been smoking and the cleaner product used to mask the smell made it worse. We had booked a non-smoking room as well !!!!. Good location for local sights. Restaurant closed during for our visit but don't know why.

Excellent food here but a very small dated room without simple amenities such as kleenex, room clock, iron. Disappointing room compare to a 2-3 star hotel. Housekeeping even left the dirty coffe cups in the room and did not replace the coffee for the second day of stay, so there was none to be had in the room.Bath faucet could not achieve hot water, only lukewarm, but shower was fine. 4 start hotel only at lobby level.

Wonderfull hotel, nicely located with free parking. Rooms have basic amenities. They loaned be a hot pot so I could make instant coffee. Plenty of items on the buffet breakfast, but could use a little more hot items, like potatoes. The orange juice was watered down to much almost no orange taste at all. We were there in April so the A/C wasn't turned on yet. Had to open the windows to cool the room down when we returned to the hotel later in the afternoon. This is a nice location for touring Tuscany.
