Stunning view and lovely place to stayPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: A great place to stay- but a shame that they could not fix the wifi which only worked in the reception area.
Cons: Just the wifi
Naphlion has everything you could want from what must be Greece's most beautiful city- views, waterfront, castles, great museum, great shops and an infinite number of restaurants. And BC 3000 Greece is only minutes away.

Fabulous view of the water.Posted Nov 1, 2013
Location: Three castles. The largest castle is SO worth the effort to hike up the 999 or 987 (depending on who you ask) steps.
The location is great. Beautiful view of the water. Easy walking to everything in town including all castles. The staff here is beyond helpful. So nice and accommodating. Fabulous breakfast.

Superb view of amazing waters & glorious sunsets.Posted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved being in this perfect location just round the corner from the hub of Nafplion, yet serene and overlooking the harbour - from one's room, and from the breakfast room. Elegant decor. THE place to stay in this old port town.

outstanding servicePosted Jul 29, 2011
We travel to Greeece every year and have quickly learned that 5 star is not Canadian standard 5 star - after reading some comments regarding hotel we were a little concerned but for no reason...the numerous "buttons" someone complained about for curtains etc. were standard to most high end hotels and not difficult - the showers were above average with good pressure and most rooms had a bath and shower - yes it was disappointing the original pool had been let go but the view of the "bourtsi", boardwalk and water more than compensated - there was also a beautiful pool available for use up on the mountain that gave specatacular views although it was not as clean as we hoped - hardwood floors through much of the hotel which was a nice contrast to the marble that is seen everywhere Now for the service - truly the best we have received to date - even trumped the marriot and sofitel in athens - staff spoke many languages, accomodated our last minute changes in reservations - showed us a few rooms to choose from based on our changes and explained the pros and cons honestly about all of them..had turn down service at night with chocolate on pillow....food was excellent value and variety including fresh orange juice and our favourite iced cap! Central to everything...we did not need a car once there - numerous restaurants and shops nearby....left feeling rested, pampered and thankful for the graciousness of the staff - would go back and recommend to anyone considering

Luxury with fantastic viewsPosted Aug 7, 2007
We had a lovely stay at the Amphitryon hotel. The staff were great and the view amazing. All the rooms have a lovely view of the bay. There wasn't a pool but you could use the sister hotel's pool which was good. We had a delicious meal in the hotel's restaurant, which was a bit pricey but very good.
