Good location but poor overall experiencePosted Sep 15, 2009
Not impressed at all. Reasonably pleasant poolside bar area serves very limited menu and could not offer full dinner menu which must be eaten inside. Inside guests given set evening meal of poor quality. Our request for a la carte confused everyone and consisted only of the 3 dishes offered at the pool! No wine list. Breakfast almost as frustrating including watered down fruit juice. Charge made for beds on Hotel's beach. Our impression was of a low budget holiday destination and that the staff, who are all very friendly, have not dealt with foreign guests before. We were pleased that our stay was for one night only.

Way out of town, lousy beachPosted Jul 29, 2009
I stayed in many hotels in Greece and I enjoyed this one the least. Not that it was so bad, it just doesn't have it. It is way out of town and accross the road from a lousy beach.

sehr zufrieden abgesehen vom FrühstückPosted Aug 28, 2008 on Hotels.com
sehr aufmerksamer Service, sehr sauber, sehr schöner Hotelstrand, nur beim Frühstück zu wenig Vielfalt; Kaffe nicht immer heiß, da die Thermoskannen sehr früh auf die Tische gestellt werden

Perfectly FinePosted Jun 27, 2008
The hotel is located a few miles south of Nafplion, so if you want to stay in Nafplion itself or don't have a care, this might not be the place for you. That said, it's on a lovely (albeit rocky) beach, and the grounds and hotel are well kept and the staff helpful. All in all, a perfectly fine place to stay. Not incredibly luxurious but very pleasant.

Great ServicePosted May 19, 2008
Great location facing the bay and if you drive, their location signs were helpful after you arrive at Drepano. Hotel people told us to go to the next town, Tolo, for Internet Caffe and many restaurants. We went to Nafplion, Maycenae, Corinth and several other locations using this hotel as a base. We enjoyed balcony/patio attached to every room. They have great breakfast (included), but dinner was too expensive and mediocre (buffet style)

Impressive family oriented hotelPosted Jul 22, 2007
The hotel is extremely close to the beach, which is a bit pebbley so not for everyone. If eating locally at night a car is recommended, with Napflio a short drive away. Local eating is limited. The pool at the hotel is large and clean, with no problems of overcrowding and mainly Greek residents. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet time, this hotel provides all you might need.

Great for the moneyPosted Jul 5, 2007
The town and the hotel were a great getaway for a great deal! I would not recommend this for a week long vacation, but it was perfect to escape from city- life for a few days. Keep in mind - the beach is rocky, but the beach chairs are wonderful. Each room has a balcony, too.

Great valuePosted Sep 13, 2006
Good place to stay, but very hard to find. The beach was o.k. and the wild dogs were a little scary, but this is Europe. You can't beat the price and the village up the road had great looking tavernas although I did not have a chance to enjoy them. The restaurants down the road from the Plaka were inferior.

unpretentiousPosted Jul 10, 2006
This hotel, on a typical Greek beach, looks like it comes from the 60's. It has some strange charm, being located near several campgrounds and is totally unpretentious. Its only drawback is its huge overprice for the quality of room and service.
