This historic 300-year-old building houses a beautiful hotel with large well-equipped rooms. It is in the heart old town. The free breakfast is varied and delicious. Be aware that permanent parking may be 300 meters away. Parking is a comfortable walk to a flight of steps that leads up to the front door. Alternatively, if you don't mind navigating a narrow street, you can drive up next to the hotel (up a flight of stairs from the front door) to unload your luggage. In either case, hotel staff will gladly help you get your luggage up or down the adjacent stairs.

We loved this hotel. It reminded me of the film A Room with a View. Nafplio has lots to offer from fabulous boutique shops to delicious restaurants. The hotel was a peaceful haven after a busy day. The staff were charming and helpful. We loved it.

The room was exactly as expected; clean and modern. The bathroom was better than expected and the shower was amazing! The toiletries were really a nice touch. The breakfast was much better than any continental breakfast typically included with a stay in the U.S.. We would definitely stay here again!

Located in the old town. Very central. Note however that there is no parking nearby and access to the hotel is up a steep set of steps. Very clean. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Excellent breakfast

A beautifully renovated building. The manager was super friendly and welcoming. Large room overlooking the castle. The hotel is perfectly situated to climb the steps to the castle and the old town and port. Nice breakfast that you can take outside. Free parking not far away and easy to find. Would love to stay again

Prestige family room was very spacious . Clean and nice beds and linens. Bathroom shower head was broken. For some reason the toilet would smell bad. As it is in the old city, you have to walk/ use steps to access the hotel . If you have a car then you will have to find street parking and walk 5 mins to the hotel.( I didn’t find it too convenient ).

Beautiful clean modern boutique hotel right in the middle of Nafplio old town. Excellent buffet breakfast (although the hot food was not kept too warm). Highly recommended and would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel was very nice and clean had a very historic building built in the 1700 and still standing and brought up to date. We stayed a week and Every single one of the staff was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms were very clean and anything you needed they would accommodate. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This is a charming, beautifully maintained old building, completely modern inside and very comfortable. The rooms are lovely, with fabulous beds and bedding. We had a deep tub which I was so happy about! The place is perfectly clean. The surroundings are lovely, beautiful old streets that we wandered very happily. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend.

A Place for Walking
Small but comfortable stay. Parking not available at hotel. Should change description. Lots of stairs. Hotel did have an elevator. Nafplio interesting town and worth visiting.

This is a nice hotel centrally located in the old town. It is a bit hard to get to - you will need to park at the top of the stairs leading to the hotel, unload, then find a better place to park. Backing up and tight maneuvering is involved. This same stairway can get loud as it is a cut through between streets, so earplugs are recommended at night. A fabulous buffet breakfast is included in the room price. It will help fuel your hike to the fortress (the path to the stairs is close to the hotel). You are also close to other parts of the old town including the long harbor walk, restaurants, and shops.

My husband, our toddler and I enjoyed our stay here. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is simply modern decorated. The room is nice and clean. The crib is large and fit my 2.5 year old. Huge spread of breakfast including hot dishes (omelette) and pastry. Highly recommended

A perfect home away from home!
While you have a lot of options in Nafplio, this charming, spotless and welcoming hotel is the place to stay. The staff attends to your every need, the location to town and sights is super convenient, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfasts are to die dir. It was everything we could have hoped for and more! There's even a small indoor lounge and an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a beverage. We had 2 rooms, and we all agree that the Grand Sarai gets 10 points! Would always choose this lovely property, and as frequent travelers, we have high standards. Stay here, you won't be sorry.

Napflion is a perfect base for visiting extraordinary sites like Mycenae and Epidavros. It also has good beaches and is a charming and interesting town with plenty of history of its own. A good place to wander and to while away the heat of the day, with lots of independent cafes and shops and a very welcoming attitude.

Pretty hotel, quiet but near everything.

Wonderful hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was on the top floor, and massive - as well as a huge bed, we had two couches, a balcony, and great views over the town down to the sea and mountains beyond. Breakfast was also excellent, with lots of variety, and the shops and restaurants of Nafplio are a short walk away. Parking isn't particularly straightforward, but you don't need a car once you're in town anyway. Would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the area.

Location is a little back from the main town area, but still a short walk into town. Very comfortable room, nice mix of old and very contemporary design throughout. Best breakfast of our entire trip to Greece. Great restaurant recommendations and help finding things. Overall a very good experience.
