Argolida Vacations

Argolida is set in a popular part of Peloponnese, an area with beaches, coastal plains and rivers.

The national capital Athens is situated 55 miles (89 kilometers) northeast of Argolida.

Peloponnese is a firm fixture on the tourist trail, which means getting around is relatively easy. Make sure you to set aside some time to explore the many scenic and cultural wonders the region has to share. Astros and Assos-Lechaio are two other places worth visiting while you're in Peloponnese.

Around 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the southeast of Argolida is Ermionida, an important regional center where you'll find Agion Anargiron Monastery, Dardiza Beach and Crusader Castle. Church of St. Demetrios and Ermioni Museum and Library are other good places to visit.

Discover moments of tranquility at Peloponnese's monasteries. If you want to stay indoors, you can't do better than Peloponnese's history museums, art galleries and theaters. These are great spots to learn a little about the local lore and culture and find a unique gift or two.

Sunbathing and beach combing are just some of the many options for relaxation in the Peloponnese area. Take a break from sightseeing and cool off with a spot of boating or swimming.

You'll never want to say "Yiá sou" (farewell) to this magnetic area.
