“Great hotel”

Hotel was clean, modern and staff were friendly. The only small problem we had, was that the room was too warm to sleep comfortably in. I didn't open the window as the clock chiming every 15 mins would have kept me awake more than the heat! Apart from that I would return to the hotel and would definitely recommend to a friend.

“Comfort Stay”

Nice rooms, good food, friendly staff. They even had a scottish bagpiper and scottish dance programme, not sure if this was just for christmas or if they do it regularly. Overall a nice place to stay.

“A nice friendly hotel”

Really please overall, although the bed wasnt really comfortable (2 singles put together) and there seemed to be a shortage of staff in the morning, had to wait on plates, bread for toast etc. The breakfast was however lovely as was the view from the conservatory and our room. We spent some time in the bar and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. We would definately visit again.

Warm welcome. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff if a little inexperienced.. A little tidy up in some areas would make a nice hotel into a lovely one. eg a bit of work around the exterior of the building. A dodgy light fitting. Nothing so bad that it was worth a complaint and nothing that would overide the lovely and convenient setting, pleasant room, lovely view and friendliness of the staff. Great steak bar meal and super breakfasts. Pity there was no real beer only lager and guinness in cans. Thats a real omission but we'd still go back like a shot. Excellent value despite these few minor shortcomings. Modern facilities. Homely welcome . A good combination. We wish the Rosslea success.

“Rosslea Hall Hotel March 26th-28th, 2012”

My Mother & I had booked a twin-bedded room. Only one set of towels was set out in the bathroom, the other was at the top of the wardrobe. We had to request a bathmat as there wasn't one. At Breakfast one of the waiters sniffed constantly, obviously having a cold. We ordered a cooked breakfast, which was dreadful. the porridge was like cement, the black pudding very dry & the bacon, overcooked. The scrambled eggs I had were like rubber & there was no marmalade. My Mother was assured that it would arrive for the following morning. However, that did not happen & one of the waitresses offered to go & buy some, which we accepted. I am thankful to say that the Dinner served at the Rosslea Hall Hotel was delicious & thoroughly enjoyed .

“Recent stay was just OK”

Hotel a little tired, we had a partial sea view and a joke of a double bed. It consisted of two singles bolted and zipped togther with a serious lump in the bed where the join was. The bath had chipped surfaces. For the money it was poor. The bar meals were good and the staff very helpful. Parking was good. Be aware that satnavs will take you to another Ferry Road NOT where the hotel is located !!
