Just Lovely

Posted Jul 6, 2012
Great place, beautiful house, animals, food, drink, pool, it's got it all. so peaceful and an easy place to be. Rooms are warm and comfy and the living room and extras all around the house are just delightful. Loads of spots to hide and read a book, or sit with lots of friends too.

Lovely Inn

Pros: Gilbert's hospitality and the grounds, as well as the location.
Cons: No English TV stations.
Location: Off the beaten path but quintessential French countryside.
Our host, Gilbert, was wonderful, accommodating and very good at recommending sites in the area. We highly recommend this country in a few minutes outside of Arles. It was a great location to get all around Provence!

Le Mas Saint-Florent. A home from home

Posted Aug 4, 2011 on Hotels.com
Le Mas Saint-Florent feels like a home from home. Gilbert and Laurent are perfect hosts and dogs, ducks, hens and chicks add to the whole atmosphere of a country retreat. Rooms are very spacious but don't expect all mod cons. Breakfasts are absolutely superb and do sample Gilbert's home cooking of an evening. One word of warning - if you are relying on public transport, taxis are thin on the ground in Arles at all times of the day and disappear completely after 10pm. With your own transport, Le Mas Saint-Florent is easy to find and has ample parking.
