“Home away from home”

This Homewood Suites location was wonderful. It was quaint and quiet, and the staff were eager to please. I always enjoy the clean, comfortable suits, and appreciate the common areas such as the office, laundry room, and patio. I also love the free Internet. I would definitely go back to this Homewood Suites and any other.

I was excited to have our two granddaughters spend the night with us one night. They brought a DVD that we all watched while we ate the popcorn that was in our room. Then, in the morning, we all enjoyed the breakfast that had something special for each of us.

“Very Nice Hotel”

Very Nice Hotel, only that all rooms are mostly for 2 people and we were 4. The two kids slept in a roller bed (complimentary) and in an individual size sofa-bed. The rooms are very big and confortable as well.

This neighborhood is very good if you have car and you plan to travel around...

“Probably one of my worst experiences”

Though the receptionist told us our room was non smoking, the stalled smoke smell was horrible. The next day, the cleaning lady confirmed that the room was a smoking room, despite the sign on the door. The receptionist told us they have no other room but would install an ozone filter. When we came back, nothing had been done and we had to sleep once again with the window opened but this time with a wedding in the hotel - very little sleep. The next morning, we had to escalate to Expedia to get another room. The breakfast was nice as well as the staff - except for the receptionists. Never again though.

“Perfect for a family of four!”

We have always been fans of Homewood Suites. This one lived up to our expectations. It is a 10 minute drive to Harvard and MIT and was fine location for a quick trip to Boston.

“Excellent hotel for any length stay”

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The second room in the suite allowed us to come and go without disturbing our daughter's sleep. The kitchen let us keep food that we wanted to have with us. Everything was clean and neat and welcoming. We stayed for just one night, but we'd have been just as comfortable for a longer stay. Extra credit: the hot breakfast was excellent. Fresh foods, well stocked throughout the entire time the meal was advertised to be served.

“Very comfortable, great amenities and super breakfast.”

Everything was great. We had a small kitchen with dishes, silverware and some pots provided. Popcorn in addition to the usual coffee supplies. Laundry was very clean and convenient. Good bed and linens. The breakfast was the best of all!

Area recommendations

The hotel was in an area with easy access to buses which connected to subway. Tour buses of the city also made the stay enjoyable. Although where we stayed didn't provide much in places to eat, it was more affordable and you could drive or ride to restaurants.

“Boston by subway”

I would definitely stay here again to visit Boston. The Alewife subway station is just a short walk away from the hotel. Very convenient and reasonably priced option for Boston sightseeing.

Good hotel for doing business in Arlington ask for second floor in winter as first floor is over a garage and the floors were cold.
