Very comfortablePosted Jun 1, 2014
The room was warm and comfortable with a large tv and free wifi. Absolutely fine for an overnight stay.

Cons: Better customer service. Keep booklets up to date, so instructions are correct. "Haven't got around to changing it." doesn't sound too good!
Very small, but clean room. Foxtel/Austar didn't work. Staff seemed quite disinterested in providing customer service.

Booking deniedPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: It is an old motel with small rooms but has everything you need.
Cons: Booking service
Location: We visited a sick relative so we did not do any sightseeing. It is a very pretty little town.
when we arrived the receptionist had no record of our booking. We took some time to convince her we were booked and paid for by Expedia. Apparently she had been away when we booked but I think the systems should be able to cope with this.

TV was so old and did not function properly.Posted Feb 1, 2014
Cheap $90 a night. Tea & coffee available. Clean except for some dead insects. Decorated in 1960. OK for stop after driving all day.

Great overnighter with kidsPosted Jan 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was a pitstop on a long journey, but the pool made the difference. Can't believe so few pools in Armidale motels. The service was the friendliest I has had in ages, maybe I am city jaded, happy, helpful and real. So an average country motel, nothing special but very clean two rooms so we could get the kids away, pool so we could get the kids moving after sitting all day. Would use again.

Basic and smallPosted Jan 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for one night and arrived late (10pm). The girl was helpful and provided us with the free wifi code which is not always the case in Australia. The room was standard and small and the overhead fan stopped working when you turned lights off. It may have just been our room as the remote control appeared to have a button to turn light off and presumably leave fan on but ours didn't work that way. As a basic stopover point it was fine. Only places to eat in locality after 8pm seem to be fast food outlets but as we have found that appears to be the norm outside of major places.

Cheap and cheerfulPosted Dec 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night while driving from Brisbane to Sydney. The hotel was easy to find. The room was not modern but it did it's job, as we just needed somewhere to sleep.

Basic motel for overnight stayPosted Oct 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The check in process was smooth. The room was small with narrow bathroom. Basic motel facilities and the office was only open for limited period during the day. Parking in front of room. easy access from New England Highway but far from city centre.

OK for quick stopPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Everything is very basic and the location is near the highway, but too far from the town center.
