Nice enough place

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: It's in the woods.
Cons: Nothing about the condo felt welcoming. Sterile, sterile, sterile.
Location: Lots of hiking and such.
Check in took forever. Only one parking place per unit. For almost $600 for 2 days, there could have been coffee to go with the pot, some nice toiletries, something. $300 a night is pretty steep for a furnished apartment. We will not return.

Good experience.

Just a small problem was air conditioning. In the bedroom on the 1st floor, it was too cool and in the bedroom on the 3rd floor, it was too warm.

Lots of room, golf course and pool nearby

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Lots of room and quiet
Cons: Exercise room opens late - 8 AM and equipment is outdated and in poor condition
Location: Golf, pool, lake, and redwoods - all close for summer. Have not been there for winter skiing
Met with two other families and shared meals so the kitchens and barbeques were good

Location: It is near Lake Alpine, White Pines Lake, and Big Trees State Park. A golf course and large pool are just across the street. My husband golfs daily.
This place is so relaxing. We have been coming here since 2009 and we found it accidentally then. The units are big enough to house 3 generations and yet be comforable. We will come again next summer.

Easy getaway

These are timeshares that are also rented. The units are well equipped and the rooms are a good size. Renters have access to the members' pool, golf and restaurant across the street.

Very peaceful

Posted Jun 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
As a whole, it was very nice and quiet. The only negative thing I have to say is the downstairs smelled a little like mildew. The room should have been aired out. Also, there was mildew in the shower. So more attention to cleanliness is needed. Otherwise it was nice. Don't know if I will come back though due to the mildew and the musty smell.

Not what I expected.

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The space and the fact that it had 2.5 baths. Very nice towels and they were plentiful.
Cons: Lighting in the bathrooms need to be upgraded.
We were in Arnold because of a high school graduation. We expected more from a time share unit. The lighting in the bathrooms were not adequate. There were multiple broken blinds. The door entries did not seem very secure. We did not realize from the pictures that there were lots of stairs inside and outside.
