Excellent, very courteous. Beautiful location.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Beauty and history.
Cons: Their showers and the water pressure.
Location: Sightseeing, restaurants, the pure beauty of Italy.... Not the touristy Italy.
Everything was perfect. My only problem was the lack of water pressure in the shower. Staff was courteous, morning breakfast was very nice, and the location and grounds were spectacular. Their goal is to please their guests, and that they did.

The town of Arpino is very quaint and beautiful. Out my window of the hotel lies a picture oin a postcard. Hotel Cavalier is truly a storybook hotel. The service was wonderful and the staff so friendly. Truly a wonderful experience!

Hotel Il Cavalier D'Arpino in lovely Italian hillsPosted Aug 14, 2011 on Hotels.com
A lovely, excellent value hotel - quaint and modern at the same time. Spacious light and cool rooms. Refreshing garden to relax in quietly in the evenings. A lovely historic small town in which to roam - but be prepared for some steep pathways.

Great HotelPosted Jul 1, 2011
We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in June 2011. The hotel is perfect and ideally situated in the beautiful town of Arpino. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and the surrounding countryside spectacular. The only downside was a lack of tea/coffee making facilities which is par for the course in most of Europe. A very pleasant stay and well recommended.

Good choicePosted May 5, 2010
Our only problem was finding the hotel--drove by about 3 times before we saw a small sign on the building--- after it was pointed out to us by a gentleman walking on the street. If there were signs directing us to the hotel, we missed them. Later we noticed there was a large "hotel" sign that probably was lighted at night, but it was still daylight when we arrived. Probably our fault, but figuring out what street names was a problem for us throughout Italy No other complaints and parking for car was a plus.
