“It's all about the price”

It's only fair to rate this hotel to others at the same price. The way I see it - it doesn't cost any more to keep a hotel room clean, with good beds, a decent bathroom and shower, and friendly, helpful service. This hotel delivered very well on all counts. If I had more money to spend I'd go to a nicer (and much more expensive hotel), if I needed a inexpensive place to stay I would go back, 'nuff said, right?

“will consider in future trips”

We are a family of 4 with teenage kids. We were not expecting much from the hotel as we have just picked it up from the list but we had a pleasant stay. The location is perfect as it is near the freeway entrance, proximity to the mall and eating places is a plus. The staff are helpful and the room and breakfast is A-okay considering the price we paid. Overall, we will consider in our next trip. Recommended for families.

“Dirty and felt dangerous.”

When I arrived at the hotel, some guys were smoking and stare at us. we felt very scary. My wife said to leave to another hotel but could not because it was very late. Carpet was very dirty.

“I'll stay there agian when visiting LA”

My stay at the Quality Inn was short but pleasant. The room and hotel main areas were clean and well kept. The big plus here was the slightly above average Continental breakfast. That Belgian waffle machine made my morning.. Although its a little far from the main sights in LA and the beach your only 30 or 40 minutes away from anything just take the LA traffic in mind when you go out. I didn't mind the drive since I'm used to that kind of thing. For a budget vacation with little frills at where your staying this place fits the bill quite nicely.

Got to hit Venice Beach. I grew up across the street from the beach in New York and this place was awesome.

“Impressed.....”

Hotel is very accessible to freeway. It is close to shopping mall and church. Rate of hotel is appropriate. Room is clean and cozy. They serve good breakfast.

“Great hotel with even greater breakfast!!! Very satisfied.”

Stayed at this hotel for one night to go to Disneyland. Check-in was very smooth; staff friendly. The room met all of our expectations: bed was comfortable, they provided many pillows, TV picture was good, room overall was excellent. The price is very reasonable. Breakfast from 6-9 was excellent, featuring an assortment of muffins, toast, sausage, waffles with waffle maker, eggs, cereal, and a good supply of fruit. The breakfast was well stocked with food, and it was very large with plenty of seating. We were pleasantly suprised! Check-out was very smooth too. Overall, a great stay at the hotel. DINING: Dennys is right in the parking lot, and right down Pioneer St there is a variety of shops and restaurants with fast food and sit-down dining. TRAVELERS TIPS: Attend the breakfast, it is worth it! Conveniently located off HWY 91. We will come back again if in the area.

“Sleeping with noise.”

The room was in front of a highway, so during all night the noise of trucks and cars was disturbing us. After a few days we got used to it, but I won't recomend it for poeple who like to sleep in silence. The 24hours restaurant service described at the hotel's site is truelly a Denny's restaurant in the same block of the hotel. Otherwise, the beds were very confortble.

Area recommendations

Well, our intension was to visit Hollywood Blvd, Santa Monica and nearby areas. Our decision to stay at Artesia was not worth, because of the trafic jam to get to those areas. So I highly recommend to stay near the areas you gonna visit. Avoiding the highways. At least the hotel is close to Cerritos Mall and near Citadel Outlet.
