“Great hotel, closest to the sea”

Great hotel, quet and clean. Everything in room. Very close to the sea, definitely one of the closest to the beach.

“Almost Heaven”

This was our second visit to Amerstam Manor which is a compliment in itself. We never return to the same resort. Amsterdam Manor (AM) is the perfect spot for couples who want quiet surroundings and those who want to truly relax. AM does not have scheduled activities like bingo, pool games, loud music, etc. The folks at AM respect your privacy and your desire to just chill. The beach is beautiful and there is plenty of space to enjoy yourselves without others all around you. AM will go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen which is great if you do not want to eat out every meal. Don't forget to pack lighlt. You spend the majority of the time in a bathing suit. Hair conditioner and body lotion is a must. Aruba is very dry, hence the cactus growing on the beach!

“Excellent Service”

Well maintained and very clean rooms and grounds, very attentive staff and dealt with any enquiry immediately. Extra services at no charge. Very handy for an excellent sandy beach right across from the resort. About 20 mins by taxi from the airport and with lots of parking for a rental car. Definitely would stay again.

“Very nice hotel in Aruba”

Excellent hotel overall. Suites very comfortable. Kitchen does not have toaster over or teaster, just microwave and stove. Bathrooms comfortable but small. Location great, just across the street, literally 15 steps from the beach. Good for families with kids. Suggest getting rental car to go to downtown and to high-rise hotel area. Taxis are expenssive.

“Best Service Ever Recieved”

The people who work at Amsterdam Manor provide the best service I have ever experienced on a trip. They are extremely helpful as well as knowledgable about the island. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing in helping us pick places for dinner as well as reviews on other things. Everyone there from the maintenance workers to the restaurant workers were unbelievably nice and helpful. Even though it is kind of away from everything I could never go anywhere else because the service I recieved here was so remarkable.

“Wonderful Place”

We absolutely loved every minute at the Amsterdam Manor. It was very clean; the staff was happy, knowledgable and helpful; the grounds were immaculate with lovely landscaping. The beach bar, Passions, was a delight and they even took orders for lunch right on the beach - and delivered it to your beach chair! We will return next year!

“Exceeded Expectations”

Read all reviews on internet - still a little apprehensive concerning location. Five family members spent 3 nights in the high rise location for a family marriage then moved to low rise to relax. I'm so sorry we couldn't spend all seven nights at the Amsterdam. We were in a remodeled two bedroom location with a view of the ocean - fantastic. Clean, new and very comfortable. Ate at Mango's - fine food.

“Just like they said it was.”

The Amsterdam Manor was just the hotel we were looking for. It was large enough to have the beach resort amenities and small enough to provide the personal touch. Our family of two adults and two adult children had plenty of room in the two bedroom suite. After we had our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the hotel grounds, the kitchen and dining area provided us a place to have a leisurely breakfast and make our plans for the day. The hotel staff were always gracious and helpful with our requests for reservations,rental cars, etc.

“Great Beach Location”

There was a slight issue when we first arrived at check-in. We had two rooms reserved, but only received one of the type we requested. We wanted rooms on the second floor, not the ground floor. We booked through Expedia and the representative from Expedia did advise we would be receiving two "balcony" rooms. We had to wait until the next day to speak with the Supervisor. The next morning when the Supervisor, Jeanine ? came in, she took care of everything. Not only did she get my daughter's room moved to second floor, but she managed to get her the room right next to ours. She was super nice and when we got back from the beach and went to our rooms - we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine in each room - Nice touch! We did not do the exclusive route, as we did not want to be stuck to eating at just one place. The Beach is right across the street, and makes it very convenient when going back and forth to rooms. Always plenty of lounge chairs to go around. Eagle Beach is beautiful - not crowded. Went to visit at Palm Beach - much more happening in that area, but really like the relaxed feeling at Eagle Beach. Took the Jeep Safari tour - got to see the island and it was worth it. Ate at Madam Jeannettes, very good food. Have been on several cruises and stopped at many islands-but never hit Aruba. Always thought my love was cruises, but now I am hooked on Aruba and we plan on going back and will stay again at Amsterdam Manor. We had a fabulous vacation.

From the moment we arrived at Amsterdam Manor to the moment we departed, everything was absolutely perfect. For a quiet, relaxing, romantic vacation, this is the perfect place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room and the grounds were always perfectly maintained. Choose this hotel - you will not be sorry.
