“Awesome place!”

My husband and I stayed at the Divi Aruba Phoenix from April 17-22 and absolutely loved everything about it. It is at the southern most end of the high rise hotel strip, but is a short walk to the other hotels and shops. Our 1 bed/2 bath condo was beautiful and appears to be recently remodeled. The shower and whirlpool tub were a bonus. The kitchen was great although we didn't really cook. The lobby of the hotel feels like Aruba! it is open and airy. The Pure Beach bar and restaurant was great for food and drinks. Loved the 24 hour deli, great coffee, muffins, and sandwiches. Everyone was so friendly. There are activities for everyone. I enjoyed the water aerobics. Beach and pool areas are well maintained and very relaxing. Cannot wait to go back next year and take our kids.

“Loved it”

When you enter the lobby you do not think your stay will be good since the lobby looks really run down and there is no air conditioning but i think they are building a new one but trust me the hotel is gorgeous and you will absolutely love it, the room was amazing the grounds were wonderful and the people are very friendly

It was absolutely great!!! The hotel and the room were perfect, we stayed in the newer building on the 9th floor, view was stupendous, lots of free parking and staff was very nice to us. Overall I would love to stay there again in a jiffy. Thanks!

“Aruba vacation was amazing!”

Our stay in Divi Phoenix was very pleasant. Very clean and staff was very helpful and attentive. Loved the variety of entertainment. Was surprised at how big our studio room was. Their restaurants had delicious food with great service. The only downside we saw was no free shuttle bus to and from airport. Overall we loved our stay and can't wait to visit again. Thank you Divi!

“Divi Aruba Phoenix - wonderful place to stay!”

My husband, son & I stayed at the Divi Phoenix 7/26 - 8/2. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew that we had made the perfect choice for our Aruba vacation. The open air lobby was beautiful. The front desk staff were very helpful. We were very happy to receive an upgraded room. Originally, we had reserved in the older section, but we were given a one bedroom in the new section on the 4th floor. Full ocean view! The room had a full kitchen (we did eat some meals each day in our room), 2 flat screen televisions, a combination washer/dryer (confusing to use) & 2 full bathrooms (master w/ jacuzzi). Cleaning staff came in everyday & made sure that we had a clean room and clean towels. They did a fantastic job! We ate dinner at the Pure Beach & the Sunset Beach. Very good meals! The beach was beautiful & clean. We had no problem getting a hut. There are activities at the beach area - the tube ride was so much fun! Before our trip, we read reviews regarding smells, We did notice something when we first walked in the room, but only in that one spot by the entrance. After being inside, we could no longer smell it. It didn't bother us at all. We did not mind the 10 minute walk to the restaurants outside the Divi Phoenix. We felt very safe walking. We were happy to be away from the busy hotel & restaurant area. There was quite a distance on both sides of the property before the next hotel. It was very quiet at the Divi Phoenix. Great place to stay!

“Perfect combination of quiet and fun”

Just returned from our trip to Aruba in July. We stayed at the divi Phoenix for 4 nights, then 4 nights at the all inclusive Rui Palace. Two very different hotels, and I think we preferred the divi Phoenix. It was laid back, comfortable, friendly, nice beaches, and friendly staff. We had a 1 bedroom with kitchen. Great layout, loved the patio (bottom floor) that walked right out to the pool area. I felt it was just the right size. Big enough to have all the right amenities, but small enough that I didn't have to wake up at 6am to run down and reserve a lounge chair (as we had to do each morning at the Rui). Only reason I wouldn't give top ratings, is probably only because the pool was just a little on the small size. But I loved that it was open in the evening with the beautiful lights. Otherwise really great hotel for families. We were traveling with 2 kids - ages 9 and 12.

“Love the Divi Phoenix - third stay”

From checkin to checkout everything was perfect! The view from the beach tower is spectacular. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful and go out of their way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. They are quick to respond if you need maintenance and the concierge desk is the best! Rooms are clean, open and airy. Pool is beautiful! Can't wait to go back next year.

“A must to stay when your in Aruba”

We stayed at the Phoenix Beach Resort from Dec 12 -21, 2009 in the new beach towers. The room was perfect. Very big with a full kitchen, living room, dinning room and seperate master suite. There was also an additional full second bathroom. Very clean. Great view of the pool and ocean from the room. Swim up bar is a must. The beach is good for sun bathing but really poor for snorkling. We did most of our beach time down at baby beach where there was far less people and much better snorkling. The pool was very large with multiple option for swiming, lounging and even had a own pool for the kids. Overall the hotel was great and we would love to return.

“Wonderful experience”

We enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix. The Sunset Beach restaurant is very romantic and we eat dinner in the sand under the sky, with the local band playing steel drums - make sure to enjoy one dinner here. The hotel in on the beach which is nice and not too crowded, so we could enjoy the sun and the shade. The water was awesome! Love to come back.
