We had much better...

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Need better process on reserving beach huts, possibly first come first serve in the morning or provide numbers to people based on when they arrive.
Location: Near shops and in the middle of all the hotels on the strip.
First off my expectations weren't that high...we have previously stayed at the Hyatt and the Marriott in Palm Beach. One of our biggest gripes was the beach hut reservation process. The process is you reserve a beach hut at 4pm the day before you need it, but they don't explain that to you when you check in. This is a big deal for us because we go to Aruba for the beach. I even called the front desk the preceding evening to confirm this and was transferred to the concierge to confirm and was put on hold for about 5 minutes, so I hung up. On the next day we went to reserve the beach hut, but realized that people were starting to line up at 1pm..which essentially means you have to wait for hours just to make a reservation which eats up your vacation time. The hotel staff varies on politeness...we kind of felt like we were treated differently for various reasons. Next time I go back to Aruba...I will be heading back to the Marriott or will go to the more tranquil Eagle Beach.

Beautiful beach area

Pros: Their beach area, with palm trees and huts
Cons: Their system of letting people make reservations for the huts, it should be 1st come 1st served
Location: Good location for shopping and restaurants
The weather in Aruba is so beautiful, almost anywhere you stay will be great, unless you plan to stay in your room all day. I do not like their system of reservations for huts on the beach!!

The hotel should do away w people reserving space at the beach! It should be available to everyone staying at the hotel

Haave stayed at the Holiday Inn for 10 years now. Great experience, staff helpful and friendly, perfect location , centrally located, all shops and restaurants within walking distance. My favorite place.

Right on a beautiful beach

Pros: Beach, cleanliness, friendly staff, casino
Location: Perfect location. Restaurants and Casino on site as well as others nearby. Water sports available on the beach.
Located on a beautiful pristine beach. Newly renovated in 2013-2014, so everything was fresh and clean. Pools were clean and attractive. Comfortable beds. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and anxious to please us. Food was very good and plentiful. All inclusive was a good deal for us, since we didn't want to make decisions every day about where to eat. But, if you preferred to eat elsewhere, there were a number of restaurants across the street and other hotels nearby. There was a Casino on site.

Very good We are old people and the only problem we found it was very long distances to walk between the room and some hotel installations

Extremely unfriendly staff

Pros: The location is wonderful.
Cons: Everything, beginning with the staff's attitude. Customer service is non-existent at this hotel. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Gym is outdated.
Location: The beaches north of the hotel are wonderful.
Although the hotel is located on the beach, which is very nice, the staff are all extremely unfriendly. When I called the front desk for assistance the staff who answered snapped and yelled at me each time. I obviously didn't receive any assistance, despite asking the staff kindly for help. When we depleted our shampoo and bar of soap we had to ask the cleaning staff for more because they didn't replace the depleted items on their own. The restaurants' staff were also terribly unfriendly. The fitness room is very out-dated. There not enough chairs on the beach for the residents of the hotel, so you have to stand in line every day and hope to receive a chair.

Its an average property, the room that I received was disappointing. I did not like so many Iguana's walking around and scaring my child.
