Nice place to go once. Maybe

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: I liked the fact that absolutely nothing was included with the price of the room. You had to buy coffee for the room and wifi was $16.00 a week.
Cons: Humidity control in the rooms. A few perks to go along with the $300 per day rooms, like coffee and cleaning service every day. Bug service too.
Location: Tours and tourist attractions. The beach and a beautiful view.
The large pool was under construction. There was no humidity control in the room and everything was wet all of the time. The only time you felt clean was IN the shower. You had to get up at 5:30 in the morning to reserve a "Chickee" which is a pole shoved in the ground with a thatched roof resembling a big umbrella in a decent location with a view.

Excellent hotel and amenities on beach

Posted May 16, 2015
Excellent hotel with all amenities, on beach, multiple eateries right on premises with varying price ranges. Staff very hospitable and provide excellent service. Only downside was had to get up very early to claim a "chickee"

Great location!

Posted May 11, 2015
The location is great! The hotel is right on the beach and has many restaurants and activities in walking distance. Although this is not Playa Linda's fault, our flight had an emergency landing and than our flight was cancelled, so we did not make it to Aruba for the first night's stay. Playa Linda did not reimburse the first night in anyway. They made it sound as though they were doing us a favor to still be able to check in a day later. Besides all the extra fees and no reimbursement the location and amenities were nice.

Pros: Everything
Cons: nothing...it was perfect
Location: Location was perfect. Never had to take a cab for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks
It was paradise. It was a family gathering and everyone had a great experience, from a 2yr old to a 64 yr old

not a time share owner - just a guest

Posted Mar 21, 2015 on Hotels
reception folks were not that helpful. i asked for map - didn't have one, didn't explain the set-up of resort or specifics such as pool towel rules etc... housekeeping was very good - kept the room tidy (with 3 teenage girls that was tough) - only issue - asked for sofa bed make-up but no one ever came. i think the difference is that most folks are time share and the place isn't really a hotel/resort so they assume you already know the drill. the adult pool was a plus - very nice. aruba and the weather/sun was the attraction - the place was a nice place to hang out - close to restaurants in walking distance and some shopping. if you want more excitement or do more than just laze in the sun, you might want a car to move about the island. taxis are available and the front desk gave no info on local buses, so you're on your own anyway.

Nice beach resort

Posted Dec 26, 2014
If you go to Aruba and plan to spend the whole day at the beach this is the place to be, because of the following reasons: Easy access to the beach. Best location in Palm Beach Not so crowded. Resort with different types of rooms with kitchen.
