Great hotel on the beach

Location: Great location - whether you are looking to shop, eat, go to the casinos or drink.....the Playa Linda offers it all!
This was my first time to Aruba...and I cannot wait to go back to the Playa Linda. The pool was great and being beachfront was amazing! The bartender at the Beach Bar, Claudia, was so welcoming and friendly. She made us feel like we were part of the family.

Perfect Holiday on the Perfect Island!

Pros: Numerous people asked us about the Playa Linda... Definitely the prettiest building on the beach front. Caught Snook and Tarpon right off the beach!
Cons: Snorkling from shore is not great. Sand silt (presumably caused by constant wind) makes visibility poor... but the water is gorgeous anyway!
Location: Centrally located among other High Rise hotels - easy access to casinos, shops, restaurants, etc.
My wife and I can only say good things about the Playa Linda, but the most telling is that we will return again in the future (in fact, not soon enough). The facility is well kept and everyone we interacted with was very pleasant. We especially like the convenience of having a kitchenette. Breakfast & lunch in our room got us back to the beach that much quicker.

Pros: Location and beach.
Cons: Everything great.
Location: On Palm Beach. Across from many shops and restaurants.
Location was amazing! Restaurants very good at hotel - especially Amuse Bistro and Le Petite Cafe. Beach was absolutely perfect. Very clean.

Great time in Aruba!

Pros: Beach, restaurants, bars and shopping at your finger tips.
Cons: Nothing.
Nice clean hotel on the beach. The staff was very friendly. I did not pass a staff member who did not acknowledge me with a good morning, good afternoon or hello. The entrance way to each hallway of rooms is secured by key access. I felt very safe and will return again.

I loved my stay at Playa Linda.
Posted Jan 27, 2013
We arrived late at night and our room (a studio with pool view) was impeccable! We also had wi-fi service throughout the resort for a reasonable weekly fee, which was great, because I had to log in to check work. Members of our family stayed at a nearby hotel, but joined us are our guest at the beach during the day because they thought it was beautiful. We dined at Azzuro restaurant on the grounds of the resort one evening and it was delicious! Also, because we had wi-fi, we were also able to watch news and movies on our ipad but the TV room was also equipped with cable and many channels options. The staff on the beach was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend Playa Linda.

Playa Linda

Pros: I liked that the rooms had frigerator a stove and microwave . It came in handy for left overs!
Cons: Seniors there get up at 4am to put their towels on chairs. The people take up those chickees all day, they leave to go other places.
Location: It's on Palm Beach so water is calm. There is all kinds of night life there. All the restaurants are there too.
I was not aware this is a Time share Resort. So I checked in on Thurs. so on Sunday I had to move to another room. Their check in day is Sun to Sun.

Great Getaway!

Pros: Location to beach, restaurants, and shopping
Cons: Room availability for size of my family
Location: Perfect!
Our family of 4 had a great time at the Playa Linda Beach resort. Our one bedroom room was a little cramped with 2 teens but we managed fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful when called upon. Location of resort was excellent, beach, restaurants, shopping and more were all in short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Aruba.

Nice safe spot within walking distance to anywere

Cons: Lack of enforcement of people saving beach huts and chairs. Should be a time limit if unused.
Very average. Many better as many worse. It's fine because most people visit Aruba for the outdoors.

Excellent Comfort in this price range
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Pros: Comfort and location
Cons: Somewhat crowded beach and older clientele for my younger family. You have to wake up before 7:30 am to get a beach hut.
Location: Great walking distance to many restaurants and shops on one side and a quiet beach on the other.
Playa Linda offers comfort, cleanliness in a prime location for its price point. The furnishings are modest and in good condition. If you are looking for high end polish, this may not be the hotel for you. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. The clientele is mostly middle age to retired couples with very few kids. Overall, my wife and 11 year old son enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. We stayed in a pool / sea facing spacious studio but would have preferred the larger one bedroom. I would recommend the very spacious 2 bedroom for larger families. While enjoying the sea on the beach side of the hotel, the front side has much to offer in walking distance, including many restaurants, ATM and shops.
