Nice hotel on the high rise strip
Posted Jan 16, 2013
The Radisson is located near the south end of the high rise strip on Palm Beach. This is the area with all the big hotels, casinos and night life. It's like a mini Vegas on the ocean. If you are looking for a more quiet area go to Eagle Beach. The hotel was nice but a bit crowded on the beach. The beaches are all public and the hotels are all connected by a walkway along the beach.

Good hotel on a great island

Cons: Night entertainment would have been a great addition to the stay.
The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing. The housekeeper for my room did a superb job. The room was cleaned and fresh every day.

Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Access to the beach!
Cons: Adjoining rooms which afford absolutely no privacy!
Location: Superb! A true paradise....
We initially had an adjoining room where the doors were not solid wood and there was no kind of sound proofing. This meant that we could hear everything from the next room as if the guests were in our own room. This is fine if you're a heavy sleeper, or sleep with ear plugs. We requested another room and initially were told we'd have to pay an extra $250/night to get a suite. Thankfully once the issue was elevated, the manager provided an alternate room, which was in a different tower and was fantastic. Once in this new room, our stay at the Radisson was great. Be prepared to pay extra for additional tea bags (the tea is weak!), and $10 for watered down cocktails. Overall, our stay here was pleasant, and we'd recommend others to stay here.

Great location and clean beaches
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Need more restaurant options
Location: Excellent
This was our third time in Aruba and my wife and I have stayed at the radisson each time. We love it here. From the beach to the pool to the casino to food and staff it is all terrific. We will be back here next time. The radisson also is convenient to all the shopping and nightlife also as it is just across the street. Unless you need to go into town you are in walking distance to all you need.

Vacation with my Sister
Posted Jan 18, 2013
Pros: The concierge staff was very helpful. The Sunset Grille restaurant was very good. The grounds are very nice.
Cons: The check-in staff need improvement. They did not provide any information about the hotel.
Location: My sister and I took a DePalm tours sightseeing tour and it was excellent. The restaurants right across are excellent and less expensive.
My sister and I stayed at the Radisson for 9 days in May. The check in staff were not very helpful. The staff at the restaurant Sunset Grille were excellent and the food was fantastic. The room was very nice and the cleaning staff were excellent. Some of the chairs and towels at the beach are in need of replacement. Overall, the experience at the hotel was great and my sister and I would go back to the Radisson Aruba again. Aruba is a great vacation destination for beach and relaxation. There are many restaurants across the street from the Radisson that are great and less expensive. Also, there is a restaurant across the street from the Radisson "Salt and Pepper" that serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner or just drinks and are at reasonable prices and the food is excellent.

One Happy Island!
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: The staff was very accomadating. Also, we left a Iphone and prada sunglasses by the pool and security had it for us the next day. Very impressive!
Cons: The drink prices at the radisson are very high. For one beer and a pina colada it cost $18. This could become costly after six nights.
Location: Theres a lot of water sports that they offer along the beach. I highly suggest the piano bar and the gelatto at the pizzaria across from the hotel.
There is a lot to do in Aruba both day and night. It's a great place if your looking for a nice balance between relaxation and fun. There are several great resteraunts like el gacho (which I highly suggest), piano bar, clubs, party buses, sunset cruises, wave runners, and lots more.

Nice hotel, great beach and pool.
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Have stayed there before and was comfortable there.
Cons: Cats and animals should not be encouraged to lounge around the outside restaurant.
Location: Very good location to restaurants
Enjoyed everything about the hotel, however, the registration/concierge staff was not friendly at all. Restaurant/bar and hotel staff aside from front desk were very friendly. I might add this was the unanimous opinion amongst guests during a conversation at the Laguna.

Great hotel, good services, limited sun-shelters
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: The excellent staff and the great landscaping.
Cons: Limited sun-sheltered seating due to European "territorial claim" system rather than North-American "first come, first serve" system.
Location: Great location on the beach, very close to eating and shopping facilities (partly on-site).
Great location, landscaping, beach and eating facilities. Good pool, but limited sun-shelters (10 free, several for rent). Beach palapas by reservation only, requiring waiting in line for one hour or more.
