A little outdated but clean and comfortable but!!!

Pros: Nice beach, food, etc. Casino is unacceptable. I will be writing corporate to express my displeasure. If you gamble I would choose another hotel
Cons: Fire some of the table supervisors as they manager by intimidation. Dealers actually told me they were afraid of losing their job because of them
Location: We have been to Aruba before so we really did not do sightseeing but rather spent most of the time at the beach, casino, and eating out. Good restaur
Stayed in the Aruba Tower in a deluxe ocean view room. First room we got overlooked palm trees and could hardly see water. Hotel tried to tell me that is what they considered a "deluxe" room. Had to argue and threaten them to post it all over facebook, friends, and write a letter to corporate. Amazingly they found me a room on the 5th floor which was truly a nice room except somewhat worn. Food was good, drinks were good, especially during happy hour, but if you gamble I would suggest another place. Slots outdated for the most part and some of the table supervisors were totally non responsive. We earned about $500 in credits and wanted to have them credited to my room charges. Was told that there was nothing they could do and I would lose the money by the manager in duty. It was not until I demanded her full name and employee number did she miraculously find a way to credit my room charges. Waitresses outright lied to you about brand names they offered and so did the supervisors. They would show you a receipt showing what you ordered but if you drink a certain brand all the time you know the difference. I actually had a BL dealer agree with me when I looked at my drink and without tasting it I could tell by the color that it was not what I ordered as she drank the same all the time. Only after pushing or paying for a drink did you get what you ordered. The problem I have is don't lie to me. If I have to pay extra for a certain brand I will

Raddison stay 6/21/15

Beat hotel on the island! Best beach on the island. Directly across the steer from all restaurants and night life. Experienced concierge provided great recommendations. Hotel provided live music every night. Will stay here again.

Very recommended-moderately catered or on your own

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Layout and options.
Cons: Value on alcohol and food options...very expensive
Location: Everything close is very high priced but they have everything, so that's good. Short distance off main drag for less than 1/2 the cost, more charm.
Great place and great staff. Spent first half highly catered via resort options (though more expensive) and second half on our own in local areas of town and via rental car. Both were fabulous.

Love this hotel!

I have stayed at the Radisson 6 times so far. It is by far my favorite resort in Aruba. It's located on a beautiful stretch of Palm Beach and close to restaurants/nightlife. The landscaping is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy! Their beach has plenty of Palapas (beach straw umbrellas) and it never feels crowded. Their beachside Gilligans restaurant has delicious lunch fare at reasonable prices. The next time I'm in Aruba I will definitely book a room there again!

Loved the layout of hotel. Plenty of shade or sun, whatever you wanted. The garden area is very nice. We checked out several of the other hotels and Radisson was best by far for beach area, location to other activities and service.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful setting

Pros: Everything
Cons: Make the beds not so tall, friendlier for people in a lesser shape. Reduce the noise from the compressors on the top of business center.
Location: Plenty to do on premises - for the first visit I did not have time to visit around , except for long walks on the beach.
After 14 years of visiting Aruba, this was my first stay at Radisson, and I am glad that I did it.(I used to stay at Wyndham / Westin , but since it has been bought by Riu, I don't like it anymore). My room was a "partial ocean view" type in Aruba tower, 7th floor and it had indeed quite a generous ocean view, plus , from the balcony you could see almost the entire island. Room was great, large, king size bed - rather too tall , an adventure to climb in it - ample closet space, clean, refrigerator, safe. I wish the A/C compressors on the top of an adjacent building were not so noisy, but with the balcony door closed, I got used to it. The tropical garden and the swimming pools were great. I reserved a palapa and I really enjoyed being on the beach - wonderful beach, well maintained. I did not come to Aruba for the cuisine , and so, I enjoyed the Gillighan's restaurant , even with a limited menu. Fresh fish day was an excellent idea.People there were wonderful: Maria Amada - great singer, Mary Rosa, Liliana, Natasha, Kuo Ying Tang, everybody was friendly and helpful. The business center allowed me to get my boarding pass printed a day in advance of the departure ,it made it easy at the airport. I will definitely come back to this hotel. I pray that the rumor about Riu buying Radisson does not come true.

The place to be in Aruba!

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: The price was good and location was excellent. The grounds were nicely kept and very tropical. The pools, beach and room was clean and beautiful.
Cons: I would change the door to the bathroom, since louver doors have no privacy.
Location: The location of the Radisson is perfect. We ate across the street everynight. Our favorite place was Daniels.
We stayed for 6 nights and all of us had a wonderful time. The people in Aruba are so friendly. From the time our plain arrived, the taxi driver and the check in were without any incident. Our room was pleasant and the food was good. We ate mostly across the street since the food in the Hotel was on the expensive side. The weather was perfect. The area at the Radisson was very safe. We will definately go back. Most of the people we met were from the northeast and have been coming to the Radisson for years. Always good to know. We will start planning for out next visit.
