Super friendly staff. Little outdated tho

Nice adults only all inclusive. No little kids. Nice coffee lounge area. Huge pool area with bar is good. Our rooms could use some updates. Seems a bit old. Damp carpet floors, has a weird smell to it at certain areas. I give this place a 6/10.

Hotel and pools are really close to the beach

Nice place for vacation. Adult only, so there is no big noise from small babies and kids. The food is excellent with so many varsity items. Entertaiment program is good and hotel is close to some nice restaurants and coffee shops.

Riu Antillas

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The energy of the hotel is very positive and very friendly. The staff is great with involving the guests to participate in activities.
Cons: The food and the process of making a reservation.
Location: Location was great: beachfront. A 2-minute walk to a strip of bars/stores/restaurants (very safe). 20-minute drive to airport.
Overall the experience was OK. The food was less than average and the process to make a reservation was awful- you are only allowed to make 2 reservations at a time. Of 5 nights, we only ate in the restaurants twice, the rest of the nights there were no reservations available because everything was booked up. Seeing how it is an all inclusive hotel, that should never happen as you paid for dinner when you paid the entire package.

Cons: Making dinner reservations
Everything about this hotel was "just OK". Food; Room; Staff; They need to change the way they handle dinner reservations- clearly the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing as far as that goes.

it was fun--too much wind tossed sand on beach--had no whip cream for all bars to make an irish coffee--bed was comfortable--staff was friendly

Hotel needs to be renovated.

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: The hotel needs to be updated. Standing 45 minutes in line to make reservations for dinner only to be told they are booked for that evening.
Location: The location is good, you can walk to the Market Place where there is shopping and plently of restaurants to eat.
Hotel staff was very pleasant ant accomodating. Rooms were very damp and musty. The humidity was awful in the rooms, it was difficult to sleep at night. The rugs in the rooms need to be removed.

Nice Hotel on the Beach

Posted May 1, 2015
Cons: The only thing that could use improving is the restaurant reservation system.
I really enjoyed this trip. The hotel was nice and located on a beautiful sandy beach, the pools wonderful and the food plentiful. The entire hotel staff including front desk, entertainment, bartenders, chefs, wait staff and cleaning staff were always friendly, helpful and friendly.

Super trip

Pros: The pool area was very pleasing. The bartenders moved right along never had to wait long for a drink. You are in Aruba what is not to like!
Cons: The rooms that are not renovated need to be.
Location: Location perfect!
Requested a king bed but was given 2 queens, however they were able to move us the next day. Ask for a renovated room, even number for an ocean view, 604 was perfect. As stated in prior reviews the bed was hard. As for the food, it was by far the best AI I have ever stayed at. Breakfast and lunch buffet's were very good. The Itilian restaurant was OK and the steak house was excellent. Staff was very friendly, no problems with anyone.
