Could be a nicer hotelPosted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Very good deep tissue massage.
Cons: The cleanliness in and around villas. Beach services/activities.
Nice location, wonderful weather. My problem were the constructions: a new bar and the reconstruction of Rio Aruba. A lot of noise starting 7.30 am to 10 pm. Entertainment team could do a better job especially on the beach. No beach volley in one week even if it was supposed to be twice a day.

Great place, excellent foodPosted Jun 12, 2015
Location: The island is so small you may need a rental car for only a day or two. Everywhere else you can hop on the bus, including beaches, for only $2.40
Everything's really nice. The only thing to remember is at the beach close your eye as soon as you feel a gust of wind or else the sand will get into your eyes. The place is very windy like others said because of the configuration of the surrounding highrise buildings. But you need the wind because it hot. This is not a problem at the pool. Place is for adults, so no kids fuss or screaming around. Food was really excellent, including seafood, absolutely fresh. Drinks, beer, and wine are also good. Definitely recommend and will go back to Riu palace antillas next time I am in aruba.

Great location to beach, shops. Well kept!Posted Jun 10, 2015
My luggage didn't arrive the first day so unfortunately I lost a day due to no clothes or personal belongings. The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. I was in need of a vacation and it wasn't as relaxing as I had hoped for, the construction noise was constant for three of my days, it was hard to have a peaceful relaxing time with all the jackhammers going on, if I had known it was going to be that noisy I probably wouldn't have chosen that hotel. Only my last day was quiet😞. I don't feel as relaxed as I should have. And I really needed some "Tammy" time! But Aruba was awesome!

Old hotel!!Posted Jun 9, 2015
I wouldn't stay here! I checked out the next day and found a way better hotel!! Not all inclusive but so worth it!! The food here was terrible, the pool was dirty and the rooms smell musty and are warm!! Just overall not good!! Good if you are young and just want to party and crash!! They renovated all the common areas but the rooms are still in much need of an upgrade!

PARADISEPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Clean, great friendly staff & attentive
Location: Restaurants, Senor Frogs, bars, lounge is close by. Renaissance Island is only a 10min cab ride to reach the boat.
I've stayed in a couple of Riu's but never a palace one but this was by far the best one. Great location , beach front and very safe location. Only 3 blocks to the strip where Senor Frogs, restaurants, bars and local carts available for souvenirs. Recommend checking out the Renaissance Island to feed the Flamingos only a ten min drive to the hotel and from there a 5min boat ride. Wonderful catering staff will sure return.

Out dated not a palacePosted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: The food was good and location
Cons: Close the hotel and remodel or take the palace tittle out. We have stay in 4 other palace properties and Aruba Rui Antilles is the worst by far
I have the worst room in Aruba the room furniture was old and the room is so updated that this property should not have the tittle of palace. The shower/tub was so old the floor felt like it was caving inn. If you desire to go to Roy wait till they finish remodeling the other two bildings.our vacation was in June

Ok hotel not worth the pricePosted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Not a lot,
Cons: A complete make over
Location: You hi to take a cab to go any other place
Expiration failed to mention the constant construction in progress constant noise, room a/c unit extremely loud, also we were kind of ignored in favor of other guess from Latin countries.we are very disappointed with the experience and will consider using a different travel site in the future

Great staff mediocre foodPosted Jun 6, 2015
Except for outstanding breakfasts and great salad bars, the food was barely passable! The so-called specialty restaurants were a joke. The staff, however, was excellent! The pool and beach were very nice!
