"Best stay on n Aruba!"
Beautiful, wonderful accommodations, excellent amenities with something for everyone. Gorgeous, calm, shark free beach! Smooth waters that are inviting and very calm. Never left the resort for the week we were there as this is our fourth trip to Aruba and wanted to relax, relax, relax. Casino time, wonderful meals and beautiful surroundings offered everything we needed. Will definitely return to Marriott Stellaris!

Just returned from a week at the resort. Beautiful beach. Very comfortable room. Food at the hotel is expensive and not very good (coffee is aweful) but many great restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend highly.

"Small resort with little competition for attention"
We stayed in a first floor "Ocean View" room. At first we were quite disappointed with the actual view from the room, but we quickly learned to love it due to the location and convenience to all the services we needed (restaurants, bar, parking lot, lobby, onsite store). We stayed for 6 days/nights and by the end of the trip although we truly enjoyed our dinners, we did found ourselves starting to get bored with the dinner options. We also wanted more authentic Caribbean cuisine and simply didn't find what we were looking for here. We loved the beach service and lunch food. As much as we loved our stay, and considering the fact that we will be back, I do want to mention that the quality of the breakfast food wasn't great. The a la cart option was dull and we were turned off on the buffet by the number of birds that were running around, landing on everything and pecking at the serving utensils. We found ourselves going across the street after this. Overall we loved our stay, the service, the people. NOTE: We stayed on the resort sunning and relaxing the majority of the time. We took advantage of the onsite car rental and rented a Jeep to go on an adventure around the island which was a blast, but a 1 day adventure was more than enough.

"Beautiful and in the center of it all"
Playa Linda is a beautiful hotel. It is also perfectly located. You wont have to walk far to go to some of the best eateries around the area. I would check out Smokey joes and acua grill for sea food. ( expensive but worth it). Playa linda is a beach front hotel. I only wish there weren't all those boats in front of the beach. If I ever return to Aruba I would definitely stay at Playa Linda again. No need to look elsewhere.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Aruba

If you’re dreaming of sunny skies and balmy weather then visit Aruba during any time of the year. This Caribbean island flaunts temperatures around the 80s F year round, and because it’s outside of the hurricane belt, you never have to worry about storm systems. Sometimes it rains between October and January, but the showers are usually short lived, giving way to sunshine by the afternoon. Trade winds roll in during the spring and summer, but they help keep the island from getting too toasty.

Due to the year-round beach-y climate, the crowds are really what determine high and low season. Vacationers who are looking to escape winter weather tend to flood the island between mid-December and early April. With this increase in visitors comes higher rates. If you prefer fewer crowds and lower rates, choose to visit between April and early December.

    Things to Do

Basking on the beach is one of the best things to do on this Caribbean island. Cool off in the calm waters on Rodger Beach or hang out on the shores of Renaissance Island. Take your adventures underwater and snorkel off the coast of De Palm Island and Baby Beach, or turn up the extreme factor with a windsurfing excursion at Bachelors Beach. Kiteboard at Boca Grandi and wade around at the Natural Pool before resting up at the one of the top Aruba resorts on the island.

After enjoying your fair share of beach time, venture further inland. Make a visit to Fort Zoutman, the island’s oldest building, which dates back to 1796, and discover the ancient artifacts at the Archeological Museum. While you’re in town, do some shopping at the markets in the capital, Oranjestad, and visit the Aruba Aloe Museum and Factory to learn about the role of the plant in the island’s history. From the Museum of Antiquities to the Bushiribana Ruins, you’ll find plenty of attractions that don’t involve saltwater and sand in Aruba.
