One happy hotel.Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: It's not a giant hotel. That's why we enjoyed it. We also stayed on the other side of the island. It's called the high rise hotels. Long lines!
Cons: Not in our opinion.
Location: In our eyes, the location was perfect. Very close to the airport.
The slogan "one happy island" fits our experience of this hotel. The Talk of the town and beach club hotel will be our choice when we return to visit Aruba again.

Good for the pricePosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Central, near the beach.
Cons: Cleanness of the rooms and access on your room to make local calls and international calls.
Location: You can enjoy the beach on walking distance, it is called Nikki Beach. After driving a maximum of 10 minutes you are in the center of Oranjestad.
It was a good hotel for the price. It was central and near the beach on walking distance. The breakfast was ok, but did not change much. The scramble eggs wear not well cooked. It was every day like they poor the egg white over the scramble egg it smell like you wear eating raw eggs. I will not recommend to eat that. The rest of the breakfast was ok. The cleanness of the rooms can be improved. They didn't clean the hidden areas in the rooms and bathroom. The bathtub didn't have a stopper so that you could enjoy a bath. You cannot call from your room to any number, not even local numbers.

Wonderful!!Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, overall fresh feeling
Cons: Couldn't think of it...
Location: Perfect location, especially close to airport for short stay.
We had arranged a one-night stay over from Suriname to Atlanta...a day walking the beach, swimming etc. It was one of the best things we have ever done., and we are frequent global travelers. The area is lovely, no high-rise hotels, and the beach is indeed across the street. Vouchers for using the beach chairs (have to pay for umbrella - no big deal). The staff was fun and very professional. Loved the pool and all the greens in the courtyard. We took the 'apartment', which gave a sense of space. It took only 10-15 minutes to get back to the airport, and the pier restaurant was fabulous for the evening out. All in all a great experience and would easily repeat it!

Clean Older ResortPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Wish the walls had more insulation in them to keep the outside noise down
Location: Beach in walking distance. Airport is a short drive from hotel.
Staff was very friendly. Resort was one of the older ones there, but was very clean and in walking distance to the beach.

Great placePosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: The great staff and pool area
Cons: The hotel name
Location: across from beach, close to everything
I think for the money you can't beat it. Close to airport but not too close, close to downtown but not too close, beautiful beach and restaurants across the street, great staff. Nothing but great.

better than expectedPosted Jul 19, 2013
Pros: THE FRIENDLY STAFF
Cons: HIRE A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO DOWNTOWN AND BEACHES FOR THE PEOPEL WHO DO NOT RENT ACAR
Location: CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT BUT FAR FROM THE NICE BEACHES AND NIGHT LIFE
I had read other experiences but I am sure they were oudated. The hotel has electronic keys for the doors, a small but suficiente space for jewelry in the safe case, very helpful and pleasant staff, very good breakfast if you go early before it gets cold, nice small swimmingpool and hot jacuzzi, overall a very good hotel. Exceptions makes the fact that at nights there are concerts, church revivals, and music very loud in the Casa de Aruba public place very close to the hotel, but it is not the hotel responsabilty for this annoyance, I HOPE IT IS DOS NOT HAPPEN EVERY N IJGT OF THE YEAR, HELMAN, FROM HOUSTON , USA AND MARACAIBO, VENEZUELA
