March Break Getaway

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The pools were great, the kids had a blast. Barbara was awesome at the bar! Rooms were spacious and taken care of every day. Location was also a plus
Cons: The rooms could be updated as well as the mattress. Hidden cost should be displayed upon reserving, not when you are at the front desk. This is unjust
Location: Day trip to the national park...natural pool (rent a jeep!)..natural bridge...ruins...caves...Baby Beach...downtown...Arubiha cigars...Eagle Beach
This was our first visit to Aruba. Other than a few hiccups, the trip was great. The hotel was

Great value and friendly staff

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, full equipped kitchen. Grill available.
Cons: Not 1 thing that would be reasonable
Location: Close to Eagle beach. Small but cozy. Casino was not up to my expectations but then again, I am not a gambler.
This was not my first trip to Aruba but one in which I chose to NOT be in a high rise. The room was very comfortable and functional. I liked the fact that I was able to cook for myself when I wanted. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were nice and spacious

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The spacious rooms, the front desk and house keeping staff. Polls were nice and a swim-up bar.
Cons: Did not like the male bar tender at Bob's Pizza. He was rude and obnoxious. Use of La Cabana's pool. Get a hut assigned to you for a week.
Location: Walking distance to beach. 2 small casinos within walking distance and grocery store within walking distance
The rooms were nice and the staff was very helpful. Bargain for the price. Walking distance to the beach.

Tropican

The staff are all very nice. The casino is very small. You could cook lopsters in the hot tub. No night life in the court yard. Can not use the LaCabana like the old days. Pizza Bob the breakfast was good the rest take or leave it. If you want no thrills no specials no actio N no niose you may like it. Not going back there again
