Great hotel to stay at before the grapevine

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Very convenient located, price was very good and included breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is right off the freeway and lots of restaurants to choose from.
We stayed here late one evening before starting to go over the grapevine the next morning. We were leaving before breakfast was served but they had it set up anyway so we could eat before we got on the road. Kept asking if it was enough, did we want more of a section. Mr. Durrani asked when we would be coming back and acted as though he would miss us until our return.

Friendly to Seniors.

Traveling from Northern CA to Southern CA is a toll for us seniors. Microtel Inn & Suits is a good stop before going up to Greatvine to LA. Having a comfortable bed to stretch our backs while watching TV, a warm soak to the bathtub to refresh our tired body. The nearby eatery to fill our empty stomach, the rustic view looking by the window not to mention the free breakfast to fill us before proceeding to our destination. #greatchoicepriceok.

Right off I-5 at the Grapevine

We were happy to find this new micro hotel right off the freeway, but not noisy at all. Very comfy, good morning breakfast, and microwave for use anytime.

Highly recommend!!!

Cons: There could have been more 'real' food in the breakfast, that being said, it was nice they had anything at all!
Location: It is about an hour from Magic Mtn, but gets you out of the city. There are several fast food places and gas at this exit.
Hotel feels very clean and new. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again if I needed to. Great access to I-5!

Great stopping point

Stayed here on my trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The property was relatively new therefore updated. Nothing stood out good or bad but it was comfortable place to stop for the night.

The Manager and hotel owner was very welcoming both in person as well as on the phone. Breakfast was excellent and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Oasis of hospitality

Besides being a brand new, clean, comfortable hotel, the Manager made our stay something you would expect at a Ritz Carlton. We will definitely stop there again on our drives south. Above expectations!

Terrible manager, Sandpaper towels

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: newer hotel, breakfast
Cons: New manager, softer towels, and lotion in the rooms
Location: Good location
Upon check in you will be greeted by a condescending rude manager. I have stayed here twice because there is not many choices when you are in the middle of nowhere. I thought that the person at the counter would change, but this manager works day and night apparently and always seems to be there. You will find that he demands to take a copy of your license and your credit card. Even if you ask him not to and offer to give him a deposit, he will not do so. He will give you an excuse of how terrible all the online sites are about paying him etc... I travel two weeks out of every month and stay in different hotels every night. This is the only hotel that I have ever found this practice in use. I looked into if it is legal for them to do so, and found that it is if you consent to them doing so, but here is the thing... I did not consent. Towels good for exfoliating
