The exterior and grounds of the hotel were awesome! The staff were very friendly and helpful! When we got inside it was a little different. The room itself was okay. The bed was fairly comfortable, the pillows were okay. The thing that I couldn't understand, was that California is in a water shortage. But the shower handles and the diverter on the tub were leaking like a sieve. I would think that they would want to fix those things before making staff mop the outside walkways to save water. The TV in the room was an older CRT type. It still worked fine, but they could upgrade those at a small cost also. Also, the lack of outlets in the room was a little challenging. To charge our phones and electronics was interesting. It could be as simple as adding 1 outlet or power strip in the room would be a big help.

The bed was comfortable and the owners were very nice, food was great. The room was very small, and needed updating. Wallpaper was coming loose from the wall, tile pulling away from shower area. Water pressure was almost non existent and shower was so small the curtain stuck to your body while trying to shower. The grounds were beautiful. I would stay again but not in this particular room.

Chose this hotel based on the availability and ratings on expedia. Was surprised to see how good it was! It is not a luxury hotel but some of the aspects are way better than a luxury hotel. The room was clean and it had everything we needed. The location was also great. I recommend this place.
