Location: the local area is very nice shops are down on a new development that we found by chance as no one seems to be around in the hotel to tell you

sehr freundlicher Service, hilfsbereites PersonalPosted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
( 2 Min.)

Dance the Night AwayPosted Mar 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel functions as a night-club on weekends. The first notice I saw of this was when checking-in - and I didn't realize then that though my room was 2 floors above the actual area where the night club is, I could still dance to the music and sing along to the songs I knew until 2AM.

Don't stay here if you want a good nights sleepPosted Sep 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel looks cute from the outside, but the rooms are a bit shabby and run down. The room we got had a lot of space but the tv didn't work, the beds weren't all that comfortable. The worst part is, when they say there's a night club on the premises they don't tell you that it's directly below the hotel rooms and there is no insulation in the walls and the windows are single pain. We could hear the music playing all night long, not just the back beat, the actual words of the songs. Not very conducive to getting any sleep.

Comfortable and friendly but could have done without the noisy disco in the bar on Saturday night.

convenientPosted Jul 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is old and dated but basically clean and the service was very friendly and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was an extra €5 per head but well worth it.

Good ValuePosted Mar 21, 2012
Pros: Good food , lively atmosphere, friendly staff. Shops and banks convenient on the main street
Cons: WIFI available in room but couldn't get mine to work
Location: The hotel is in the centre of the town of Ashbourne and within half to three quarters of an hour of Dublin.
Spent a couple of nights at the hotel over the St Patrick's weekend. It is situated in the main street of Ashbourne with a small car park at the rear. Reception was friendly and efficient. Rooms are a good size and comfortable with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Lounge Bar is modern and friendly but the music a little on the loud side for some peoples' taste. There's an excellent Bar menu with a great deal of variety at reasonable prices - food from the restaurant menu can also be purchased in the bar also. There is a separate restaurant area which is spacious and well laid out. Again, menu selection is very good in both variety and price. In both bar and resturant, the quality and presentation of the food is excellent value for money. The location of the hotel will suit people touring the County Meath area

Brief stay for weddingPosted Aug 23, 2011 on Hotels.com
Did the job, a place to get the head down after a wedding we were attending. Knew we wouldn't be back to the hotel until after the night club closed, so that wasn't an issue. Clean and modern, no problems. Cheapest place we could find in the area for the night.

Good value & cleanPosted Aug 23, 2011 on Hotels.com
Fine big clean room, quiet enough given the town-centre location, very good value, we didn't have the breakfast but it was available for €5.
