Typical airport hotel

Cons: Put in an elevator!
There is no elevator, this is 2 story hotel. We had to drag our bags up a flight of stairs. I would not stay there except on the first floor. Otherwise it was OK.

I love this hotel. Staff is friendly. The room is clear, and equation is new and good. I will come back.

Overnight stay

Pros: Restaurant /bar attached was great.
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room and bath were newly remodeled and very nice. Restaurant and pub were in the same building and we had a great meal.

This is a fair hotel for the location

Pros: I like the location of this hotel--close to the airport, 10 minutes to AVL and 10 minutes to HVL. I found the hotel manager to be very reasonable.
Cons: As stated above.
I have stayed at various moderate hotels within the region. I would describe most of the services at this hotel as fair. During my stay, the communication between staff was questionable, and I ran into some glitches with my accommodations because of this. Breakfast was fair. My room was clean. Traffic noise was noticeable from within the room. I really can't say this hotel was totally disappointing, however, I will likely choose a different hotel for my next stay within the Asheville area.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Nice area and with renovations looks pretty. Beds are very comfortable. Very clean hotel.
Cons: Checked for those sofas-bed and make sure the mattresses are in good condition and clean. Same thing with refrigerators. Food should be hot always.
Location: Very nice location. Parks, bear factory, smoky mountains etc. Beautiful area.
Additional sofa-bed stained and uncomfortable. We got moved to a better room. Then refrigerator making noises. Refrigerator was changed. I requested a discount for the problems and I was pleased with it. Breakfast was O.K.; not great. For the price they should give a little better breakfast. Other than that, everything was nice.

Nice hotel within minutes of Asheville

The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. They were very quick to answer any questions or handle request. The king-size room that we stayed in was very spacious. My family of four had plenty of room and did not feel crowded at all. Room was very clean. There is also an attached restaurant, that I did not know about sadly until after we arrived. All in all would definitely recommend this particular facility.

Great place to stay. We will be back. Loved the breakfast buffet. The staff was very courteous. The room was wonderful.

Frozen in Asheville

Pros: The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were well appointed with new large flat screen TVs, microwaves and small refrigerator & coffee maker
Cons: No elevator yet but they indicated one was on the way
We were stuck at the airport due to an ice storm. The shuttle came in very icy conditions and the staff could not have been more accomodating. They kept the restaurant open because many had not eaten and worked late to accomodate everyone. You could tell staff was exhausted but they were so patient and helpful. They turned a bad situation into a pleasant stay.
