Courteous Service

Pros: We liked it overall both as facilities and service. Breakfast was plentiful especially for the affordability.
Cons: What smelled like cigarette odor came into one of the two rooms we reserved. Undesirable especially since we had an infant with us.
Location: Excellent location. There are several restaurants within walking distance and short drive. Close to an interstate and shopping.
The hotel staff was professional and courteous both at the front desk and breakfast area. The room was clean and we found nothing amiss. Even the hallways were well maintained which is something that often is not so in even pricier lodging.

Check is was available early which I liked. Front desk and staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Elevator stunk so bad I had to hold my nose everytime I was on it. I had a room on the 2nd floor non smoking. Half of that floor was smoking. You could smell it bad unless you were in the room. Dogs coming in and out. Yuck. Paid $100 for one night. In my opinion too much for just a clean room for a night.

No Shuttle to airport!!! $25 taxi ride

The place is an OK run of the mill 2-star hotel, though the rooms are not set up with plugs in the desk area, and require crawling around to plug in devices. The huge problem was finding out that there is no Shuttle to the airport, and despite being less ghan a mile, the taxis charge $25 plus. The Hampton and the Clarion nearby do have shuttles, so I would stay at either of those next time. This is a terrible problem, they need to either partner with other local airport hotels to share a shuttle service, or get their own. Right now, I would not recommend.

Nice hotel, reasonable rate

This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. We were in the area visiting our daughter who is a student at UNC-Asheville. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the campus and rates were about 1/2 of what they were nearer to the campus. Well worth the drive, especially in the morning when we could enjoy the beautiful fall leaves!

GREAT Room, GREAT Visit!!!

The Hotel MUST have recently been remodeled! It was SO nice and the King size bed was SO comfy and a GREAT flat screen tv. The bathroom was all New from floor to ceiling and a fantastic shower head....It was the BEST PRICE around and the BEST room I've stayed at in a long time!

Breakfast was good. Room ordinary, staff very good. Dead worms in pool.
