Great stay. The staff was very courteous and kind

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness. The staff. Peace and quiet. Don't know if it was the mountain air or the bed or both, but we rested very comfortably.
Cons: The sign outside could be a little bit bigger.
Location: Right off 240 and Tunnel road takes you straight into downtown Asheville. Plenty of reasonable parking garages. Great places to eat.
Great staff. The hotel is convenient to downtown We enjoyed Asheville completely

Good location

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: location; suite type room
Cons: The AC had a hard time keeping the temp consistent and was noisy.
Location: We took in many of the tourist attractions in Asheville as well as driving 700 miles exploring the North Carolina area.
The room was good for the two of us. We liked the location and overall experience was very good

Beware! Picture look good but they were deceiving

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The time we spent there I did not see anything I liked.
Cons: Customer service, beds need to be replaced , and pictures need to be up dated.
Location: Within 5 miles there is a lot of good restaurants and entertainment.
Wanted a nice room and a pool for a Thursday night rest stop in our Labor Day travel. My husband agreed the pictures and the price looked great. When we arrived we were surprised that the hotel was not as nice from the outside as we had thought. We entered the lobby and smelled a very harsh chemical smell. I thought they had over chlorinated the indoor pool that was next to the front door. We checked in because we had prepaid nonrefundable. We ask if there was a good restaurant close and was given a book and told there was every kind of food you want to eat down town. No recommendation was given although we asked again. We went to the room and opened the door to a terrible smell of something stale covered with lots of something that smell like Lysole spray. We sat down on the bed to talk and the squeaking was so loud we began to laugh. The beds was terribly lumpy. We went down to request another room and were told the had no more rooms and all the hotels in the area were sold out. The lady at the desk suggested we go open the window in our room and the smell would be better when we return from dinner. When she saw the shock on my face and I said that will not remove the smell, she decided the staff should go up and handle the problem. We left and went to two other hotels very close to the one we booked and they all had rooms that were nice and did not smell. Called Expedia who handled our problem and refunded our money for the smelly room.

Nice hotel

Hotel was superb. Woman working behind the counter when I checked was a total beauty. Her name was Sarah. I'm just disappointed I didn't get her last name.

Convenient location without over the top prices

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The size of the suites are impressive, even the basic ones appeared spacious. Front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: Signs highlighting the hotel are a bit small. Coming in to Tunnel Road from the South, we missed it. A big Wafffle House sign is where the hotel is.
Location: On a busy strip with lots of restaurants, mainly fast food. Vast shopping mall nearby. Downtown has great atmosphere and character.
We stayed here for 2 nights to be close to Ashville centre. Convenient for all attractions. Hotel is located on a busy road, but set back so no obtrusive traffic noise. Our room on the 4th floor faced back, so no noise issues encountered. Suites are huge, ours had a separate living area, and are really comfortable. Good range of breakfast food on offer, although the dining room can get busy at times. I consider this to be a good choice to stay in Nashville.

Nice hotel - mid range pricing

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Close to a lot of restaurants, not far from interstate.
Cons: Lobby smelled like clorine as soon as you walked in. If you could add an elevator closer to the lobby it would help those who have handicap issues.
Location: We were there to see the Biltmore. It wasn't too far from the hotel. Otherwise, I didn't see too much else except a good choice in restaurants.
At first, we missed the hotel completely. We saw the sign, but not the hotel. Front desk help was friendly and courteous.

This hotel was in an excellent location. We could get to downtown in a few minutes as well as out to the Biltmore. Also, it was close to the highway.
