“Great place to stay in Asheville”

We were going to the Nascar races in Bristol TN, but the hotels in that area were too expensive, so we ended up staying in Asheville NC. We chose the Hampton Inn because it looked like a large room with a full kitchen. It was exactly as it looked on line. We enjoyed our stay very much, having the kitchen saved us money on meals, and we had the hotel's breakfast each morning. The entire front lobby staff was friendly and very helpful with directions and advice. They had a shuttle to the airport, which was convenient. My husband used the fitness room every day, and it was small but adequate. We have no complaints and definitely plan to stay again next time we go to the race in Bristol.

Excellent accommodations. Everything met our expectations. Morning breakfast was set out nicely, very clean. If we return to Asheville this is where we would stay.

I stayed at this hotel both before and after an Outward Bound trip in the area, one night each. On both occasions I was extremely pleased with my visit. I greatly appreciated the quick and free shuttle service from the airport....only a 5-minute ride. My rooms were well appointed and very clean, and the bed with its variety of pillows lushly comfortable. Roomy bathroom, too. Staff friendly and attentive. The lobby has a luxurious feel, with a complimentary computer/printer station, and there is a lovely patio as well as a pool/jacuzzi area for outside sitting. The complimentary continental breakfast is one of the best I've seen....plenty of room to move easily between the cold options (fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, juices, muffins, pastries) and the hot options (self-made waffles, toast, bagels, oatmeal). The food was fresh and refilled well; large area for sitting at tables. There is a Ruby Tuesday's restaurant right next-door. Cab service to downtown Asheville was about a 20-25 minute ride, with a rather hefty pricetag of $75....but as a solo woman traveler, I felt well taken care of and dropped off/picked up from an easy central park location. The delightful walking city is well worth exploring. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel with confidence.

Very nice place to stay.. Definately would recommend!! Very clean, beds were cozy.. And they also have a work out room and a pool.. And not far from restaurants, or shopping.. There is also a HUGE Liquor store 5 seconds away.. And when we went they had a sale on just about everything...!

“Very Helpful”

I arrived at Asheville Airport from UK at about midnight, having had a difficult time in Atlanta involving a cancelled flight and the loss of my luggage. I was picked up at the airport by a shuttle service and taken to the hotel where I was given a toothbrush and toothpaste. I was so relieved to have a bed for the night. I was kindly taken back to the airport the next day to look for my luggage - which did eventually turn up on a subsequent flight. What kind and helpful staff at the hotel, I was very impressed.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfortable -- not too soft. The breakfast had a variety of options and the dining area was very nice and comfortable.

“Considerate and Friendly Staff!”

The woman who checked us in, Pamela was her name I think, noticed that I might want a handicapped accessible bathroom, but I had not booked one. She saw one that was available and moved us to that room, no strings attached. It was very kind and considerate.
