Excellent location and too notch service.

Posted Jan 19, 2015
All staff at the location were helpful and went out of their way to help make sure what we needed we received immediately. Even the bar refused to charge a soda to my room for my daughter. I have a hospitality degree from Johnson and wales and I can tell you these guys have it figured out. They were too notch service. Suites were roomy and great. I will return.

Nice place to stay.

Great location in downtown Asheville. Hotel is in a historic building so some quirks in the facility. Our room was large modern and very comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly. We'd stay there again.

Solid, well appointed, clean, safe and friendly.

Our large family spent several days at the Haywood after Christmas and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. The halls of the hotel were quiet even through the busy holiday time. Rooms are large, clean, and peaceful. Chocolates on the pillow, Kurig coffee maker and room darkening curtains are little things that make me very happy. We shopped and enjoyed nearby resturants.

Perfect downtown Asheville location

Posted Dec 29, 2014
We were welcomed with a smile and a choice of water or a glass of champagne. Of course, we chose the champagne in order to get into vacation mode. We chose to valet park our car and there was no fee (another welcome amenity!). Our room was spacious, spotless and relaxing. Every recommendation the front desk made was right-on. We loved being able to walk to all the restaurants, shopping, movie theater, and nightcap bar. We felt very safe everywhere we went. We will definitely be back.

Loved the Haywood Park Hotel

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The room, the truffles, the bar.
Cons: more truffles!
Location: I loved that it was in the middle of walking distance to the restaurants and pubs and shopping.
Visiting your hotel was a joy. My husband and I snuck away for a special weekend as neither of us had ever been to Asheville. We loved being met with champagne upon check-in and the valet parking. I loved that the Haywood Park hotel was easy access to the downtown area and not far at all from the Biltmore. We enjoyed the excitement of the city, the delicious food and walking the streets for shopping. The bar on our way out of the hotel was a lot of fun. The bartenders were very nice and helpful and we enjoyed talking to them. The room was swanky and the bed was nice and comfortable. We would definitely choose this hotel again. The truffles were really tasty also.

Location perfect. Hotel could be modernised.

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: location location location
Cons: The breakfast! Also modernising the hotel to create a real 5 star experience would be nice.
Location perfect, in the middle of asheville. For the price I was expecting a more modern hotel. The rooms are a fine size and the staff were nice too. If you want 5 star, go to the grove park though.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel and staff, but don't get a room on the alley side of the building or you'll have the pleasure of listening to the dumpsters being emptied at 5AM
