Amazing Hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Very Clean public areas as well as guest rooms, wonderful bedding, great showers, wonderful restaurant, great location, very pleasing to the eye.
Cons: The only thing that I feel could have been improved was the lack of good customer service from the first employee that I encountered.
Location: Wonderful shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc.
Everyone has always been very kind and helpful at this hotel. During the previous visit, the young lady that was at the check in desk around 11:15 AM was not very friendly. I completely understood that we could not check in due to the fact that the rooms were not ready. However, I specifically asked her to see if our friend (who was checking in on the same date) could have a room close to ours. The young lady said that she could not guarantee that they would be right beside each other, but that she could make sure that we were on the same floor. I let her know that we would both not be able to check in until late due to going to Bristol for the night race. She stated that was no problem and that she would note it in the system to put us on the same floor. When we arrived back at the hotel to check in, we were not placed on the same floor, but the woman who checked us in was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is fabulous, and when we had a problem with our room not being serviced, they immediately remedied the situation. I was just disappointed with the first employee's lack of friendliness to the guests. I noticed this on more than one occasion when we entered the hotel at different times.

Short Stay at the Biltmore Hilton

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Our stay at the Biltmore Hilton was good. We were happy to be met by pleasant staff and given a spacious, clean and odor-free room. On the down side, the hotel is not far from a highway and rooms facing in its direction will experience some road noise. The a/c system will drown that out when it is running, but "quiet" is not an option. There was only one sink in the bathroom and the water in the sink stubbornly refused to run warm. (The shower did have adequate hot water, though).

Saturday night getaway

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Bar service was quick and the valet service for my car was outstanding, very quick.
Cons: Room furnishings could be improved.
Location: Location was good for the plans we had for the evening and the following day.
Checked in about 5 p.m. and the computer showed that our room was not ready. It took about 20 minutes for them to determine that the room was indeed clean and ready. The person at check-in was very apologetic and offered free valet parking, which I appreciated. The room was just O.K. and the king bed that was reserved was definitely not a king, more like a small queen. The room turned out to be a handicapped room, so I don't know if this is what they consider as a king for the handicap rooms. The lounge chair and ottoman in the room were hard as a brick and very uncomfortable. All in all, definitely not as luxurious as many hotels I have stayed in for much less money.

Misleading Name

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: The gym/workout room
The word "Biltmore" in this hotel's name can lead those unfamiliar with Asheville to think this hotel is located near Biltmore Village, which it is not, or even the interesting parts of town. It is actually in a suburban office/retail/ residential park with none of the charm of Asheville. You can see the mountains in the distance, but... The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are fine if undistinguished, the gym is a big disappointment, and the restaurant/bar, like everything else in the hotel, is significantly overpriced. We would have been ok paying these rates if we were IN Asheville ( like we thought we would be...), but not next to the freeway far from the places we'd hoped to walk to

We stayed two nights. Great location BUT... No hot water the second morning. Something you do not expect from a $239/night Hilton. When I told the staff about it they could have cared less. Very disapointed

Great location

We stayed here two nights before dropping our children off at camp. Shopping for last minute camp items were within a 20 minute drive. Otherwise, we had many shops and restaurants all within walking distance, and you can't beat having a movie theater across the street. I did not give a 5 because we had a terrible view of the roof.

Great Hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Very modern, very clean, top quality service and accommodations.
Cons: It was perfect.
Location: Many shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as a movie theater. Lots to do, all in one place.
I booked this room for my wedding night and it was fabulous. My bride and I were very pleased with everything of the hotel and would certainly recommend the Hilton at Biltmore Park to anyone looking for an upscale room in the Asheville area.
