Cons: Nothing
Location: Hotel only 10 minutes away from the center of downtown.
We did not know our way around Asheville and found the reception/concierge staff very helpful- where to go, how safe, what required reservations, where to buy tickets, etc. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. My wife had an upset stomach and staff went out of their way to help her with food, and some over-the-counter remedies.

The location was perfect for downtown! We enjoyed to short walk to the downtown shops. Even though I don't have a pet, I thought that the added touches of treats and water bowls were a nice touch. It was extremely clean and every employee was accommodating

Above and beyond

Posted Jul 23, 2015
We misplaced our only set of car keys while staying at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville. After inquiring at the front desk, the manager alerted the entire hotel staff to be on the lookout for them. Then I got a call from the concierge asking if we'd gone to dinner in town (we had). She called the restaurant and not only located the keys, but went to fetch them herself--and refused a tip. Very helpful and impressive!

Great 4th of July Getaway

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: The view from the room, the lobby was nice, the staff
Cons: Nothing I found
Location: Downtown was walking distance, Biltmore
We decided to take a unexpected trip. Check in was easy and the room was beautiful. Great views of the mountains and fireworks. The room was quiet and comfortable couldn't have had a better sleep. The staff was outstanding. Room was super clean and the cleaning staff kept the place spotless. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Modern gem in a tired town

Fantastic corner room. Great staff. Only negative - outside front porch directly on Haywood St and rather noisy spot to try to relax with a cocktail.

Hip and Hospitable

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Indigo is right downtown and has an excellent staff, who smile and are on it. Hip design features and a rotating art exhibit. The bar is stocked and The Wedge us right down the road.;) Two thumbs up.... Get an upper floor do you can see the mountains ... 5th floor was perfect.

Staff needs training in customer service

Posted Jun 14, 2015
The hotel is new and nice. Rooms are very confortable. My problem was with the staff that clearly don't have customer service skills. I asked for a hafl rate on my last day to stay until 5pm because my flight was not until 8pm. They say they couldn't because there was no housekeeper after 4pm so I has to pay full price to stay a few more hours. No problem. The last day I go back to the hotel to shower and rest before my flight at 4 and my room was not touched. No clean towels or bed made. When I pointed the fact to the front desk they just said I'm sorry they are running behind today. In any other good hotel I would be presented with a discount or something to make up for the inconvenience. The person on the front desk just kept saying: what can I do?

Chic hotel with good facilities

Posted Jun 13, 2015
We arrived in Asheville in the early evening having spent the day driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was slightly disconcerting, after a day of tranquillity in the mountains, to see a concrete high rise hotel on the edge of the state highway. Despite first appearances we were very pleased to have chosen Hotel Indigo, as it surpassed our expectations in every way. As soon as we arrived at the hotel the valet parking staff were courteous and helpful, and the reception staff were equally so. The interior of the hotel was great-modern and chic, and our room was bright and welcoming, with trendy interiors and a very indulgent bathroom. The hotel was on the edge of downtown, and we could easily walk there in 5 minutes to have a drink and meal in the evening. All-in-all a hotel that both we and our 21 year old daughter were very impressed with.
