“southern hospitality”

the clerk stayed on the phone to guide us to the hotel and gave us water when we arrived. that was kind and thoughtful as we were very late due to plane delays. good location as the Builtmore was a planned day.

“Decent stay on a budget”

The hotel was nice but a little out of date. The atmophere was pleasant, the people were really nice and the maid service was excellent. The only bad thing was the odor in the hallway smelled like wet dog for the first 2 days. It disapated after awhile.

The hotel is old, but very well maintained. The rooms are clean, but are outdated. We had breakfast at their restaurant and I was a nice meal.

This was an older hotel, but very well kept. The rooms were roomy and clean.

Is a very quiet place to stay.Personnel is very courteous. Room are ample and comfortable.

“It Works”

The hotel is older and may look unpleasing from the outside, but the rooms are better. Our room was clean and neat, and we experienced no problems. The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance of the Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and it is only miles from a Harris Teeter and Wal-Mart. I would stay here again if I were traveling to Asheville for leisure. It's not the greatest hotel, but it works.

“Very Convenient”

This hotel was within easy driving distance to the Biltmore, which was the reason for our trip. My only complaint would be that the rooms seemed old. But it was very clean and the free continental breakfast was a nice bonus.

“Good Location”

I booked this Hotel for it's location as my wife and I were going to the Biltmore House the next day. The price was reasonable for this area. They provided an adequate continental breakfast. Our second floor room had a balcony but it overlooked the parking lot. Being on the second floor I expected an elevator, but none was to be found. I ventured down to the pool area to find it had not been open for some time which was very evident by the green scummy water. The ice machine had been removed from our floor but ice was not needed during our stay. The carpets had just been cleaned days before our arrival with the cleaning solution odor still in the air. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable.

“Great location and price”

The manager or whoever that checked us in was extremely nice and very pleasant. The hotel does need some work to it and our room smelled mildewy but I feel perhaps it is old and that was the reason. It was my fault for not saying anything but the gentleman was so nice I just could not bring myself to complain. Beds were very extremely comfortable. Other than that it was in a great location for siteseeing. Could not beat the price even with the odor it was worth it. The continental breakfast was very good and the area was clean.
