Just passing through

Posted Aug 11, 2014
booked it on our way through town, beds were very comfortable. Had a nice pool areas but overall a little run down. No breakfast, offered a discount to IHOP next door. It is an old Holidome from the 80s so that was fun for my spouse and me. My son enjoyed the old school video games. Overall however seemed overpriced for what we needed.

Nice place to stay in Asheville

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Very pretty hotel inside with lots of extras--a fountain, indoor/outdoor pool, pool table, air hockey.
Cons: They need to repair a few benches in the lobby.
Location: Biltmore Estate is wonderful and downtown Asheville has plenty of restaurants and street performers.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and staff was very nice.

Pros: FACILTIES
Cons: STAFF
Location: BILTMORE HOUSE, PISGAH, ASHEVILLE
STAFF SEEMED CONFUSED AND UNTRAINED. CARD HAD TO BE REPROGRAMMED 3 TIMES, BUT THE FACIKLITIES WERE CLEAN AND VERY NICE

Could be a nice place.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Location, good parking, easy access, courteous and friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel needs to be refurbished. It's dingy, not particularly clean and generally showing a lot of wear and tear. It could be a very nice hotel.
Location: Plenty to do in the Asheville area - great restaurants, craft breweries, antiques, music, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, mountain scenery
This could be a very nice hotel, but it really needs to be refurbished. The place shows a lot of wear and tear and is somewhat dingy. The staff was very courteous, pleasant and helpful, and it seemed that they were trying to do the best the could with what they had. Some of the services usually expected were not up to par - WiFi was not working, no breakfast, (although there was an IHOP in an adjoining building). We were first given a room that was occupied, but the staff corrected quickly.

Good hotel to stay

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Inside area with kiddie golf, pool table etc. Though we didnot use, at least know for future that we can entertain the kids when not going out.
Cons: A mini refrigerator and a microwave oven can be placed in suite to make it more convenient to family. We did not need it this time, so didnot feel.
Location: Looking Glass falls - scenic beauty Sliding rock if anyone knows.
Good hotel option with clean room and reasonable amenities for family. We did not use, but saw small kids golf play area, a pool table etc in the area that's surrounded by all the inside facing rooms.

Maybe a nice Ramada MANY years ago

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Remodel the entire hotel including staff.
Location: The location is next to the highway, there is nothing to do near by.
The hotel sits close to the highway, far from the main hub. Next to the hotel are several restaurants (Applebee's, Wendy's, Waffle House, IHOP). When we arrived we requested a room on the first floor and the person at the front desk told us that by booking with Expedia they could only accommodate us on the second floor. The hotel is old and dark. My room supposedly was non-smoking but the smell to cigarette was horrible, the rugs are disgusting, the room was spacious but not clean to the normal standards. I asked to be moved to another room but the front desk told me they did not have any other room available. The hotel holds $100 on the credit card and they are not returned until two weeks after check-out.

A Surprisingly Nice Stay!

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The biggest things I liked about this hotel is its proximity to a BP gas station, Dunkin' Donuts and the expressway.
Cons: The fitness room would be the major thing to improve. There were 2 pieces of equipment available and my athletic family did not find them inspiring.
Location: Asheville is snugged into the mountains and boasts the location of the Biltmore Estate. There are many restaurants, a zoo, botanical gardens and city.
