“Functional”
This hotel is tucked away from a main road but is very near shopping (mall) and a few restaurants. There's a Carrabba's right next door, which is not where you should be eating if you're in Asheville, but it works in a pinch. You could not make a left turn out of the hotel, which required a little extra maneuvering at times. The rooms were sparse and reasonably clean but not spotless. We were in an adjoined room... not exactly behind a soundproof door, but we had the same schedule as the family next door, so that worked out. The A/C unit was right next to the bed, so it was hard to cool the whole room, and the person near the bed was in for a chilly night. The staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. The free breakfast was just passable (no fresh o.j., weak scrambled eggs), and there really wasn't enough seating in the breakfast area. A bit overpriced IMO.
“Was a great deal for the price”
My family stayed here during my daughter's soccer tournament and we were very pleased. Everything was nice and clean. they provided complementary breakfast which was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will be glad to stay here again if in the area.

The hotel is comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff.We needed to have something faxed and the hotel faxed it for free.
“A delightful experience”
This hotel is in a very convenient location to Intersate Freeways and very close to downtown Asheville through the Beaucatcher Tunnel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My partner is a marathon runner so they gave us excellent directions to a safe and scenic running area. The room was very clean and comfortable with high speed internet access. It was a very comfortable lodging experience enchanced by a very helpful and friendly staff.
“Rennovation”
The hotel was undergoing rennovation to make it look very modern in the lobby. It didn't look all that great to me, but maybe it will when they get finished. Also, when I checked in around 10pm, they said that the hotel didn't have enough parking spaces for everyone, so I needed to park at a nearby restaurant! It wasn't that far away, but just annoying. The room was fine, but just felt a little on the cheap side. The towels were very thin and although it had a separate seating area from the bed, it only had one TV that was positioned in the middle of both rooms, so it was a little awkward watching tv from the far end of the bed. Other than that, everything was fine. It was clean and in a pretty good location although you cannot turn left out of the hotel to go downtown. You have to turn right and then turn into some other business to turn around.
