Clean, comfortable and close to downtown.Posted Aug 13, 2014
Loud neighborly children made for some disruptions but that happens everywhere. Otherwise a good choice, clean and update rooms.

Great hotel, great location!Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Location, decor, cleanliness.
Cons: Front desk staff could be a little more hospitable.
Awesome little hotel right in between downtown asheville and the entrance to the blue ridge parkway. The whole thing has recently been renovated and could NOT have been cleaner. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Love the new decor. The breakfast is good considering it is continental - mainly carbs but they do offer fruit and oatmeal so you can eat fairly healthy. The front desk staff were ok-friendly enough. Housekeepers were very friendly and always smiled and greeted me whenever running into them. They kept our room spotless! The road infront (tunnel road) is very busy and can be noisy - but it did quiet down around 9 pm every night. Alot of chain restaraunts and high end grocery stores right around, however it is less then a 5 minute drive to downtown asheville. One of the coolest things was every time you head downtown , you have to drive through a short tunnel - which for those of us who live at the beach was exciting. Love this hotel, love asheville - we will be back! Thanks super 8!

Better than I thought a Super 8 would be!Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The room was modern and comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom needed a towel rack or hook on the door or anything! Just a tub and toilet is not enough.
Location: We were close to the Blue Ridge Mtns, so we were able to see some wonderful views when we drove it. And the hotel was right next to a mountain.
It was nothing fancy, but clean and pleasant. They were remodeling, but there was no inconvenience to those staying. The room was basic, especially the bathroom, but clean.

Very nice stayPosted Jul 25, 2014
I spent a night in this super 8 with my boyfriend. The hotel was very nice, with brand new bedrooms and huge comfy king beds. Our room was very clean and comfortable, we couldn't find anything bad and we were very surprised instead since we weren't expecting to find such a nice hotel for such a lower price compared to the ones around! Excellent.

Close to downtown. Newly remodeled.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Room was clean and comfortable. Area surrounding hotel rundown. Disappointed with breakfast-got coffee but ate elsewhere: no eggs or meat, only carbs available. Staff seemed indifferent.

Best Super 8 everPosted Jul 18, 2014
Cons: More parking lot lights
Clean and newly renovated rooms were nice. It's not 5 star hotel but way nicer than regular Super 8.

Location: We enjoyed our trip to Western North Carolina Nature Center. Asheville as ever was a fun city to visit.
Pleasant hotel for money in close proximity to Asheville. Air conditioning units efficient but noisy. Fan in bathroom would have been useful. No ice machine even though ice buckets are provided in room. Wifi connection was hit and miss. Limited breakfast choice but replenished frequently and good quality. The waffle maker was much appreciated. Overall a pleasant stay.

Wolf in sheep's clothing.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: It would have been comfortable
Cons: The type of cleaner they use
Alltough this hotel was recently refurbished, we found the air in the room so strong of an offensive odor from an very strong cleaner we all most checked outout then, but where hoping the smell would go away. It did not and we checked out at 6am Vowing never to even consider an souper8 in the future.
