“Cheap, clean and close to everything”

The Super8 motel is a decent place to stay for the money. The continental breakfast was better then a lot of hotels I have been at. Short distance into town but more importantly right off the major highway 240.

Was very satisfied with the overall condition of the Super 8. Room was very clean. Our requests were fulfilled. Staff was pleasant and courteous. This was the second Super 8 we stayed at. The first was in Alabama. Both were good stays.

“Perfect for a traveling young couple with no children and a busy visit!”

It's a Super 8, and for the FABULOUS price (even the concierge thought it was a great deal), we knew it wouldn't be fancy -- and we didn't care anyway, since we'd be out and about 99% of the time we were in Asheville. It was a perfect set-up for us. We just wanted a shower and bed, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The staff were VERY kind, very cheerful and helpful. We shoed away the housekeeper one day when we were getting a late start and she must've forgotten to come back later (no big deal), so when we came back that night around 10:30, we had no clean towels. The front desk lady dried a few towels for us very quickly. Since she was by herself she couldn't deliver it, but that was perfectly fine. We were grateful for her help and cheerful service. The shower had somewhat low water pressure, but nothing unbearable. It was a great price in a decent location: short drive to downtown, right by a gas station, right off the interstate. We don't eat at any of those chain restaurants (we were there to *experience* Asheville -- eat locally!!), but they'd probably be handy for anyone who needs a quick bite on their way out of town, especially if they have a lot of mouths to feed as quick as possible. We had a fabulous time experiencing the local eateries, you should take the extra mile to enjoy them! We were visiting my sister and we will likely stay here again!

“Right outside the tunnel”

Super 8 surpassed my expectations by far! The motel is in a great location, right in the middle of "restaurant row", with a grocery store a block away if needed! The staff was extremly friendly, but, the breakfast on the week-ends is much bigger than during the week. Asheville is a beautiful town with plenty to keep you busy! I highly reccommend trying the "Fiddlin Pig" 2 lights notrh of the motel for a GREAT BBQ and fun entertainment! I would stay here again!

Excellent deal for the price! I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the condition of my room when I checked in. Only two exits away from downtown- I had an awesome stay!

A nice place to rest. The room was comfortable, the staff accomodating, and the location convenient for shopping and touring.

If you're looking for a decent, affordable hotel this is worth considering. We had no problems at all and would go back again. I understand that this hotel was renovated in 2008 and I saw some bad reviews that were written before the renovation. I dont think any of the bad reviews apply today. The rooms are a good size, have a refrige, microwave, and a very good heater. (we stayed in December ). Overall its a simple, no frills hotel in a good location.
