“Excellent location”

Everything you'd want in a small package. Comfortable, clean (if a bit dated) and the only improvement would be the cleanliness deck area off the kitchen. The resort has a nice breakfast buffet and great view of the first tee on the course. Very friendly and helpful staff. The weather didn't permit us to use any of the outdoor amenities, but we'll try them on our next visit.

“beautiful lake and mountains”

It takes a while to get there, but well worth the drive. We took the 90 minute boat ride on the lake. WONDERFUL! Great view of the mountains and all the beautiful homes. Enjoyed the lazy river pool.(bring your own tube) It was about an hour drive to the Biltmore House. Our place sleeped 4 and had a full kitchen.

“Great Hotel”

It is great ! Even for the one bedroom we rent, it has relatively independent unit. Quiet and nice neigborhood, not far drive from the Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway , it is great for the fall trip !

“Lovely mountain get-away”

A lovely way to spend time in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. Wyndham Resort had all the extras to make it's guests feel at home away from home. Our accommodation was overlooking the golf course, which was in perfect condition. Lovely Lake Lure close by.

“Wonderful Weekend Get-away”

We went here for our anniversary and had a great time. The room was very nice and equipped. The facilites were not within walking distance, but the drive there is not far and once you get there everything is in one place. The staff was great and very pleasant. This resort is in the mountains, so you will have to drive to get anywhere, but the drives are absolutely wonderful.

Check in was smooth. Condo we stayed in was nice. Had a great time. View was awesome in the area.

While the hotel itself was fine, it came up in a search for hotels in Asheville, NC. This hotel is over an hour away from Asheville and the drive was winding and difficult. This hotel NEVER should have been an option for someone looking for a hotel in Asheville.

Great place in rural North Carolina to stay if you want a get-away from the city.

“LowKey”

Everything was great, the location was not what I expected. It is in the middle of no where with lots of curvey roads! There isn't much near the hotel so if you plan on a vacation that very low key and want to cook and play golf and swim, it's perfect. The space was great, staff was great. We had a broken toliet and it was repaired while we went out for dinner at the one restaurant they have there, which was great, but pricey. I would recommend this place, if you are looking for a summer family vacation and plan to cook most meals.

“Rooms vary greatly. Some nice. Some not.”

These rooms (villas) are privately owned and handled by Wyndham; therefore, there is considerable difference in each villa. Some are nice. Some are not. Even tho same amenities are included. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you are returning and know a specific unit to ask for.
