A place to stay while working on the road.

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Competitively priced. Clean. Quiet
Location: Easy to find from the interstate. Eating establishments close.
The hotel was everything you could ask for. The rooms were kept clean. It was quiet. I had easy access to numerous eating establishments. When I first arrived I realized that the refrigerator in my room was not working. I reported it to the front desk and the problem was taken care of immediately.

Cleanest Hotel around.

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Clean smell and roomy rooms.
Cons: Staff could be friendlier.
Location: The location of the hotel was near my final destination but better than that, it was close to the restaurants and shopping.
I have staying in a lot of hotels and this one would rank in the highest for being clean and roomy. The price was under what I expected to pay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Cons: Cleanliness. This hotel would have been great had it been cleaner
While the hotel wasn't awful, it wasn't exactly clean. There was a beer cap on my floor when I arrived and a layer of dust on the headboard and blinking alarm clock (if the layer of dust was a clue the alarm clock hadn't been set in over a week). There is no elevator, which is fine, but the stair well was so dirty I didn't want to roll my bag on the ground. Also, I was in a non smoking room but the hall way smelled like smoke so bad it made my gag.

Friendly staff, but floors unclean, only two casual chairs, noisy air conditioner. We've never stayed in a hotel with laminate hallway floors as well as laminate room floors.

Pros: location
Cons: better continental breakfast, fruit choices
Location: Location was great, did not stay long enough to do anything in town
Convenient for our travels (location). Was passing through to another location, good stopping point from where we came. Nice quiet area to rest

A very pleasant stay

Pros: What gave this motel the edge over the other nearby motels is that the Super 8 is not right next to I-64.
Location: Grayson is close to a few of Kentucky State Parks, including Carter Caves, which is a great place for caving and hiking.
My state was September 27 - 29, 2013. I booked a room for 2 night at a special rate on Expedia, but even with the regular rates, the room was worth it. From when I walked in the lobby, I could tell the hotel is very well-kept. The room I stayed in (239) was on the north side on the motel with truck parking outside, but the windows are well insulated that I didn't even know the trucks were out there until the next morning. The noise-level of the air conditioning unit is typical of most motels. Otherwise the room was well-lit, and very clean, plenty of ac outlets for my laptop, phone charger and even my media player, which I could plug into the flat-screen tv. The continental breakfast was typical, but very good. In all, I would book a room here again when I come back next summer.
