Better to get train to reach hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Get train from Saint Augustine / Saint Lazare station to Asinere Sur Seine station is the most convenient way.

Every thing about this hotel was good other than the lifts, which were too small even to the extend that it will not accomodate more than two people!

Small but nice

Posted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a bit out of the way, although it's only one train stop to central Paris. The town of asniere-sur-seine is very quaint. The rooms are tiny but the breakfast is nice. Not bad overall

Excellent value for money and well located

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Only one small lift, which if you're on one of the top floors can be inconvenient but didn't bother me
Location: Quiet area with easy access to central Paris
I thought this hotel was very good value for money, I was fortunate to get one of the larger rooms, which had ample space for my needs and was well maintained. The staff were friendly and do speak English. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood not far from central Paris with several restaurants nearby. The RER station is only 5 minutes walk and it takes only 10 minutes to Saint Lazare with frequent trains, although you will need to then get on to the metro to see any of the sights. The nearest metro station is a bit further away and more difficult to find but I managed first time with the help of the maps on some of the streets. Free Wifi with a simple sign up Continental Breakfast included in my stay was good, with plenty of choice and if you like jogging there is a great route along the Seine towards La Defense

Value for money

Pros: Bed
Cons: Lift
Location: Sub-urban area
Nice small hotel... value for money! We went for a holiday for 4 nights in Paris. Room is average size, bed is comfortable, have a TV, phone and basic Paris information pamphlets. Room is well maintained. It comes with a small table, chair and a frame to put your luggage on. Toilet hygienic - provided with a liquid soap which says for hair, hand and body wash but we used only for hand wash. Fresh towels provided everyday. View from window nothing great. No kettle in room but available at ground floor near reception. You can take mineral water, coffee, tea all the time from there. Morning breakfast is from 6am to 10am (11 weekends). Okay breakfast having juice, cereals, breads, coffee/tea etc. basic stuff! Hotel have a luggage area if you check-out in the morning but want to spend the day in Paris. You can collect your luggage in the evening. They put specific tag on your luggage to identify it. Wi-fi is free, although you need to sign up in the start and log-in every time you come back to hotel. Lift of the hotel is a small wonder...smallest lift i ever saw in any normal building. can hold only 3 thin persons a time. Me and my wife need to put our small luggage on the top of big suitcase to fit it in it in one go. Train station is near (5 min walk). But it is a small station so you won't find direct train to major destinations. Disney land - 2 change; other tourist destinations - 1 change (at least)

I loved this hotel. It was very close to the train and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was pretty decent. Nothing glamorous...but filled you up. I would definitely stay here again!

Good location just out of Paris

Posted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay at the Ibis Styles Asnieres was very good. The staff were extremely helpful an pleasant. The hotel is very quaint and full of colour. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. it was great to be able to make tea or coffee down in the foyer after a day out walking in Paris. Sometimes there is also croissants to eat with your tea. The area was very good with plenty of good restaurants available within easy walking distances. A lovely place to eat is called Le Cercle Brasserie opposite the tran station. Buy a 2.60 Euro train ticket and that will take you in to St Lazare main train station and also let you use it to travel once on the Metro.

Nice hotel 5 minutes from Train station.

The hotel room was small. Washroom excessively small, even by EU standards. Free breakfast with ham/cheese/cereal/pastries/good coffee/fresh squeeze orange juice. The location is excellent, ~5 minute walk from the train station "Asnieres-sur-Seine", which is a 5 minutes ride away from St. Lazare train/subway station. So essentially, you can get from the hotel to most tourist spots in Paris in 15-20 minutes. The hotel is 1.2km from the closest subway station (Line 13: Gabriel Peri) (if you really want to save money).

Great hotel for budget traveller

Posted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: staff were friendly and speak english
Location: Close to the Metro line
The hotel is as stated. It is a budget hotel. It is clean and has easy access to metro line- less than 10 minutes walk and for families with young children- a macdonalds. Bed comfortable, room is basic, wardrobe is small and breakfast is standard continental. If you are just looking for a decent budget place with easy access, then this will suit you. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is always a staff that speaks English.
