Great place on a budget!Posted Jan 4, 2015 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay in aspen when the rest of Asoen is expensive. A short walk but not a big deal. Clean, cozy, free breakfast and wine hour and good price. Can't beat!

Older but affordable.Posted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Good location. Can walk easily to downtown and easy access to bus stops. Hotel is older, walls are thin but it was affordable for Aspen. Nice to have breakfast and afternoon snacks.

Aspen Backpacking TripPosted Oct 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Aspen Mountain Lodge was out coming out hotel after a week long backpacking trip in the Maroon Bells.our two night stay was wonderful. Property is close to downtown Aspen. This not a luxury hotel, but was clean and comfortable and a great value in Aspen.

Overall pretty good place close to downtown. Only negatives: on a noisy street and no fan in bathroom.

Ski Lodge HotelPosted Sep 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I realize it is built like an A frame Ski Lodge, but I had no idea that it didnt have an elevator. I took the upgrade of the 4th floor King size room since I had paid extra for a balcony. Hoping that I would have a view of the mountain from my balcony led me to take the upstairs room. Lugging both large suitcases up these stairs made me regret my decision. Especially since the construction of homes behind the Aspen Mt Lodge marred most of the view. The room was quite clean, updated, and comfortable.

Nice place to stayPosted Sep 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed there in early sept prior to a hunting trip up on Mt yeckel. It wasn't fancy but it was not a hole in the wall either. It was clean and up to date. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but for a ski trip nxt time. On a side note the guy keeping the continental breakfast stocked asked why we arrived to the area to hunt so late.(sept. 3rd)He claimed that all his buddies had all tagged out and 80% of the big bulls had already been taken for the year. Yea right!!!
