By far the best value for the buck!Posted Jul 26, 2014
This motel is centrally located to all of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is clean, comfortable, and priced just right. The breakfast in the morning is good (hello hot oatmeal!) and most of the rooms overlook the river in the back. I would highly recommend it to all.

Pros: See above.
Location: Incredible hiking, biking and water activities among other things. Good for all ages.

Nice hotel. Close to downtown.Posted Mar 28, 2014
Stayed for 4 days while visiting family. Room was small, though we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel. It kind of served as our home base. Easy to get to off the highway.

No frills accommodations but clean.Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: Price and proximity to ski resorts. Right along the river and close to the highway.
Cons: Needs some character. Very boring decor.
Location: Town of Carbondale has some local flavor
TV remote would not work but staff tried to make things right. Continental breakfast was boring. Overall fine for the price. Beats high prices up valley.

Great location, nice restaurants nearby.Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Overall experience was great.
Cons: Can't think of anything they could improve on.
Location: We stayed there because of proximity to ski hills (Aspen, SnowMass, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands).
Everyone on hotel staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet is well stocked and had nice variety with fresh fruits. If in that area again we would definitely stay again.

The hotel is being refurbished at this time.Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: The hotel is very clean and easy to get to. The staff were all very nice and attentive.
Location: Carbondale is about 25 miles from Aspen/Snowmass. They have easy access to great skiing, mountain biking, etc.
The hotel is going through a major overall. The main area and our room looked very nice. I would not have picked up on the work in progress except I am a contractor.

Nice two star propertyPosted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was comfortably appointed and average size. Nice place to stay to save a lot over Aspen rates. Seemed well above average for Days Inn.

Nice updatesPosted Jan 20, 2014
Location: I definitely recommend "The Goat" restaurant which is right across the street and "Phat Thai" in town.
This hotel is a great budget-friendly place to stay in the Roaring Fork Valley. They are in the process of doing some remodeling and updates which is nice to see.

Great Overnight StayPosted Jan 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in Carbondale overnight to fish the Fying Pan so the location was perfect. The front desk people were very friendly and check in / check out took literally 10 seconds each (which was awesome!). The room was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be some work being done in the hotel right near the lobby - but it didn't affect my comfort of my stay.
