Best place to stay in Carbondale

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Very clean! Very comfortable beds!
Cons: nothing!
Location: Every outdoor activity, biking, hiking, relaxing! Great place to spend time in a home away from home!
Traveled alone to attend nephew's wedding. Felt very much at home here! Rode bike that was provided for guests every day I was here. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating! Great cookies in afternoon and excellent breakfast every morning! Definitely will stay again when visiting family in Carbondale!

NIce Hotel, quiet backyard

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: As the name it was very comfortable and the staff were very professional and helpful
Cons: N.C.
Location: As I said, Goat is a nice restaurant, also there is a microbrewery close by across the highway, Just 1 mile from downtown.
It was an overnight stay. Had my bicycle with me but you can rent one and ride 1 short mile to the beautiful Carbondale downtown area. There are a couple nice restaurants close by. I recommend "Goat"

Recommendable hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The hotel is used to dealing with pets and seem to understand what small things make a big differenc.e
Cons: My only compliant was that when booking I was told late checkout was later than it actually was.
I stayed there with my dog for one night. For the $15 pet fee they give you treats, poo bags and offer bedding, which is a nice convenince. They have a very nice patio and there is a trail down to the river. There is also a hot breakfast in the morning. My only compliant was that when booking I was told late checkout was later than it actually was.

Our stay was just an overnight on the way to the airport. We discovered a great restaurant across the parking lot called the goat.

With road construction in town, I had to call and ask for directions. Spot on! When I arrived I asked for a room on the first floor. The only one available was a suite but I was immediately upgraded at no additional charge.

Relaxing for two days.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Aspen and getting back to I-70 to continue our journey.
Cons: 2 beds it was difficult getting around 1 by the window when the desk chair in use- 2nd chair would be nice for eating a meal in the room-closet small
Location: Aspen and Glenwood Springs
The hotel was close to the main road but had a room that didn't get that noise - however, we were facing the parking lot with motorcycles and trucks starting up. Fortunately didn't keep us awake when were sleeping. The room was small for the amount of furniture in it but worked around it. Only one chair in the room so made it difficult to eat any meals in the room. Breakfast was good and menu items varied. We used the self-laundry facilities and had no problems.

Needed break

Posted Jun 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
The front desk clerk, I believe that her name was Linda, was by far one of the nicest people we have come across at a hotel. Our original room was on the second floor, which normally would not have been a big deal. But we were coming back from my father's funeral and we had additional things to bring in since we could leave them in the car. So after climbing the stairs and realize that we would still need to do two or more trips, my husband went to see if we could change our room to the ground floor. She was quick and very kind and did not make us feel bad about making the request. Her kindness at the beginning helped to set the tone for the next two days. The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed setting on the patio.
