With road construction in town, I had to call and ask for directions. Spot on! When I arrived I asked for a room on the first floor. The only one available was a suite but I was immediately upgraded at no additional charge.

Relaxing for two days.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Aspen and getting back to I-70 to continue our journey.
Cons: 2 beds it was difficult getting around 1 by the window when the desk chair in use- 2nd chair would be nice for eating a meal in the room-closet small
Location: Aspen and Glenwood Springs
The hotel was close to the main road but had a room that didn't get that noise - however, we were facing the parking lot with motorcycles and trucks starting up. Fortunately didn't keep us awake when were sleeping. The room was small for the amount of furniture in it but worked around it. Only one chair in the room so made it difficult to eat any meals in the room. Breakfast was good and menu items varied. We used the self-laundry facilities and had no problems.

No fuss, good comfort.

Loved the bed, cleanliness, laundry facility, and ease of parking. Breakfast is worth skipping...lots of carbs and white flour/sugar food. Eggs when not already gone seems pre-packaged. Yogurt and fruit was appreciated. A comfortable and practical nice chain. I's stay there again but skip the breakfast.

nice folks, loud room

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: staff was friendly
Cons: don't force people into a room that is so obviously inferior.
We checked in and the staff was friendly enough after chastising me for not having called ahead to tell her I had a pet. It worked out fine, we got a pet room, but beware it was sandwiched between the laundry room and the janitorial room and was constantly inundated with loud noises. Not a good room at all.

Pros: very very comfortable beds, bedding and pillows
Cons: walls are thin, pets allowed
Location: fly fish, ski, hike carbondale has great restaurants and good prices unlike Aspen
very comfortable, easy stay. Great location but they allow pets which was not a problem but could be if allergic.

Nice reasonably priced hotel in cute small town

Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean.
Cons: If you have difficulty with stairs you should request a first floor room as there is no elevator. I personally had no problem.
Location: Besides skiing we enjoyed the local restaurants. There is a very good small restaurant (The Goat) right across the street.
We stayed here for a week of skiing at Snowmass and Aspen. It was convenient and much less expensive than staying in Aspen. Every evening when we returned the staff at the front desk had hot fresh baked cookies for us.
