Great, Clean, FriendlyPosted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Staff is friendly, breakfast is decent. Mostly up-to-date
Cons: NEED Air Conditioning in summer
Location: Tons to do in Snowmass and Aspen.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small mall close by that is nice, and there are some very nice restaurants that are reasonably priced nearby. My only thing was that it was 80+ degrees and no A/C. That makes all the difference in a hotel for me when I'm sleeping.

We won't go back.Posted Jun 26, 2015
Cons: Clean the whole place up.
Location: We wanted to be close to Aspen to do some hiking. That was good.
The room was very dirty and the maid service didn't seem to care. Dirty laundry cart with dirty linen was left in the hallway by the elevator all day and night. The laundry room (we went to get ice) was filthy and disgusting. The hallway and elevator was dirty and never got cleaned in the 3 days we were there.

Affordable SnowmassPosted Jun 24, 2015
Great room and location. Only thing that would have made a good stay a great one was if the rooms were air conditioned. Got stuffy at night.

No A/CPosted Jun 24, 2015
Good inexpensive high quality room. No air conditioning, but a fan and an open window cool down the room at night.

Beware of Summer StaysPosted Jun 22, 2015
Although I was told that there has been a change in ownership to this hotel it is slightly run down the cleaning crew needs to do a better job and there's no air-conditioning. I booked this hotel for $179 a night one month out and then the day I showed up it was online for $95. No recourse😕

The hotel rooms are not air conditioned.Posted Jun 22, 2015
This is not a good place to stay in the summer. The rooms are too hot for sleeping.

We won't stay here againPosted Jun 5, 2015
We have stayed at the "Wildwood" for the last couple of vacations, but we won't stay there any more. First of all, it is not the Wildwood anymore. It is now a Holiday Inn Express. We had difficulty getting the towels that we needed. At the end of our stay they tried to tack on a "resort fee" that was not included in our Expedia total. We complained and the desk clerk removed it from our charges, but we don't want any hidden fees tacked on at the end of our stay in the future, so we won't be staying here again. Otherwise, as far as hotel staff, room comfort, facilities and cleanliness, the standard has been maintained.

Nice to hotel ski in ski outPosted Mar 21, 2015
Room was small but we were not in it much anyway. Did a lot of skiing and if that's what you're looking to do this place is perfect for the beautiful snowmass mountain.

Great Location, but really just a refurbished dumpPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Where do I begin?
Location: Fuel in the village for great coffee and breakfast burritos. Steps from the lifts at Snowmass.
Steps from the main village at Snowmass, this location is hard to beat. But, you get what you pay for as this is also one of the cheapest accommodations. This place is really just a refurbished dump spruced up with bright, splashy colors and retro furnishings. I'm not overly picky, especially if it's just a quick weekend guys trip, as this was. But, I at least want a comfy bed, warm shower with good water pressure and a quiet comfortable sleep. This place delivered on only one: a comfy bed. The bathroom was barely large enough to whip a cat in (as they say in the South), the water pressure and amount of water coming from the shower head was abysmal, and the room was unbearably hot, even in late winter. It never got below 74 degrees in our room unless we propped open the door. The maintenance guy was helpful, but advised us there was no AC, only heat and the heat in the rooms tended to rise to the upper floors. Nothing we could do about it as the hotel was completely full. I'm slowly getting my buddies to open up to the possibility of staying at nicer accommodations, but they're baby steps!

Rabbit trailPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: A small, small peak of the ski lifts.
Cons: Tell people what they are really in for when trying to find their room. I got lost several times through the maize of rooms.
Nice hotel - Holiday Inn Express upgraded me to the Westin, if and when you arrive at your room, especially if you like to follow rabbit trails and take elevators that look like broom closets.
