Perfect location!!Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Jacuzzi on roof, free breakfast, and most importantly the location.
Cons: Some of the rooms could be updated and we could hear the concert hall people until the wee hours every night.
Location: Right in the middle of Aspen core 1 block from gondola at Ajax Mtn-perfection!
Hotel was great! Fabulous location right in the middle of town. Jacuzzi on the roof with spectacular view. Free continental breakfast with these great breakfast burritos. We thought the room was cozy and had a fridge for leftovers to store. It's not the Little Nell, but a fraction of the price. For us it was totally worth it for the price. Will stay there again.

Will be backPosted Oct 20, 2014
Staff was excellent. Really didn't like the lack of parking. Also, was hard to do a late check in due to no staff being there past 8pm. But overall I very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. The rooms are amazing!

This is a lovely, cute hotel right on the square. But both nights I slept poorly due to loud people outside, likely drunk. It is the trade-off for the great location. If you are a light sleeper like me, all the fans and white noise machines still don't drown it out! Loved the roof top jacuzzi. The continental breakfast could use some help.

Great hotel, terrible room location.Posted Oct 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is great. Our room was right next to the alley and we could hear everything going on. We were woken up several times in the middle of the night by the bar next door emptying their bottles into the dumpster and by the dump trucks and delivery trunks early in the morning. It was the worst night's sleep I've gotten in a long time. Not relaxing at all. Other than that the hotel was great and the location was perfect. Just make sure you don't get a room facing the alley!!!!

Nice hotel right in downtownPosted Sep 27, 2014
Cons: Walls are really thin, so we could hear everybody in the halls. Plus the rooms are all grouped around and it funnels the noise. Minor point.
Location: Cooper and Hyman for pedestrian walking street with shops, coffee, ice cream, etc. Right near the base of Ajax Mt. Can walk to everything downtown
Upgraded room with classy bathroom, really cool shower, and small washer/dryer in the closet (I don't know WHY, but maybe for ski clothes?) Breakfast was very generous and very clean where it was laid out. The roof top lounge was a great place to take a hot tub or just lie out and look at the mountains. We would stay there again.

In the heart of downtown AspenPosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved it and will return. A minor rug cleaning issue was resolved as soon as we pointed it out to the staff. The hotel has upgraded nicely since our last visit 2 years ago. The one drawback is there is no reserved parking, but it was not difficult to find nearby on street parking using the permit issued by the hotel when we checked in, and we never had to use or move the car. Breakfast was excellent. Rooftop hot tub was nice, but shut down by 8 PM. We would have liked it to be open until later.

small, unkempt, unfriendlyPosted Aug 15, 2014
Our room abutted a service alley, with loud trash dumping from the adjacent club/restaurant at all hours of the night. Room had popcorn kernels on the 70s throwback shag carpeting, calling into question the last time they'd even vacuumed it. The bathroom was tiny, as in New York hotel bathroom tiny. The reception staff, if you could call them that, were apathetic. Overall, one of the most strange lodgings I'd ever been to, and especially disappointing in the otherwise posh town of Aspen. I guess that is what you get for $200/night (considered a bargain in that town). And, to add insult to injury, the hotel has no parking, and guests must troll for their own spot in the residential area of town.

Quiet hotel in the center of the action.Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The location - the peace
Cons: Parking is a problem but it seems to be common in Aspen.
Location: The gondolas are just a block away, we can walk to restaurants and cafes and enjoy the sights and sounds right outside the hotel.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful in every way. We definitely looked forward to breakfast that includes a wide selection of every thing any one would need before hitting the trails.
