Nice hotel with close airport locationPosted Feb 28, 2015 on Hotels
Needed a hotel quick following a medical problem and a number of flight delays and this was just what we needed. Close to the airport, slope side for skiing and snowboarding and a shuttle into aspen and the airport. Had to extend my stay twice and the staff were very helpful in sorting this out. Food is good and not overly expensive . I would stay again.

PillowsPosted Feb 28, 2015 on Hotels
I am allergic to down pillows and ask to have the replaced with foam ones. At first I was told you did not have foam and suffered the first night until I finally talked to someone that was able to provide me one and delivered them to me

Probably great for a family, not for ski bumsPosted Feb 27, 2015 on Hotels
Nice hotel, but pool was broken. It is also outside of Aspen on Buttermilk moutain (which is the easiest mountain of aspen). I was thinking I would be doing ski in ski out and going out downtown, so I was dissapointed with the price of this hotel as neither of these things happened.

Hot tub views of ButtermilkPosted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: The service was great. The restaurant was nice, reasonably priced. Hot tub and pool were clean.
Cons: The DVD player in the room did not work. The corners of the bathroom were grody- not very clean, and random trash in one of the drawers.
Came up for a few nights for a mini vacation, we did not ski, but did enjoy a hike up Smugglers Road. Highlight of the hotel was sitting in the hot tub watching the skiers at Buttermilk just steps away. We had a ground floor room and the outside door opened right onto the parking lot, very convenient. Shuttle service to Aspen was fantastic. The driver was very friendly and offered great recommendations and door-to-door service.

Hidden GemPosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: new rennovated rooms, beds and the best recliner ever. heated bath floors!
Cons: not a big fan of the walk in shower, too breezy
Location: easy to find and get to anyplace nearby
glad we found this recently rennovated hotel, right at base of Buttermilk. easy to get to from anywhere.

Great stay just outside of AspenPosted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels
We enjoyed the location, being right outside Aspen made it easy to get to Snowmass and Aspen Mtns. Staff was very pleasant and always available to help. Room was large enough to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. Only drawbacks, when cleaning our room they never replaced the cups or toiletries and the parking was limited due to the XGames setting up and taking over the hotel.

Inn at Aspen Good for location but not for luxuryPosted Jan 7, 2015
This hotel is nice because it is right off the slopes. The rooms are ok but beds are hard. The restaurant has great food and drink, the bartender services is very slow! I would stay here again because it is convenient for skiing and the slopes are literally outside your back door! The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the shuttle service into and from town is awesome!
